'Are they always like that?' I asked Ashley as we left.
He nodded, holding my hand again so I didn't get lost, even though I had already memorised the route. 'Yup. Don't let the make-up and haters fool you lil' Monroe. They are honestly the most maddest, childish bunch of guys I have ever known.'
'Explains the skittles and wild cherry cola.' I muttered.
'Nope, that's just CC.'
I gave a laugh at that.
Ashley helped me into his car, and insisted on doing my seatbelt up for me. Setting off, he reached the junction, and turned right back towards Jayy's. I gently patted my face, feeling the black warpaint beneath my fingertips. The band had decided to give me my own design, and it was pretty cool. I had bat wings on my eyes, and Ashley-like marks down both cheeks and both sides of my neck, giving me the nickname of 'Ashley's Little Bat' from Andy, which quickly caught on.
'Fancy grabbing a bite to eat?' Said Ashley suddenly, breaking into my thoughts.
I nodded, and he took a detour to pull up outside a McDonalds. He helped me out, and grasped my hand again, taking me in.
However, as to be expected, he got spotted, and I was knocked over by some excited fans.
'Hey.' A girl pulled me to my feet. 'Sorry if I knocked you over.'
'It's okay.' I said, brushing myself down.
'I'm Rosemary.' She said, looking at me. 'Nice warpaint.'
'I'm Roxie.' I replied. 'Thanks.'
'You met Ashley yet?'
'No I'm with him.' I said. 'My brother let him take me to meet the band, but he had better watch his hands.'
Rosemary laughed. 'Who's your brother?'
'Jayy Von Monroe.' I said.
Rosemary's eyes widened. 'No way!' She breathed.
I nodded.
'Natasha! Raylene!' Rosemary was calling her friends, one of whom was currently getting Ashley to sign her bag.
'What Rosemary?'
'C'mere!'
After getting a hug off Ashley, they came over.
'Natasha, Raylene, this, is Roxie. She's Jayy Von Monroe's little sister!' Rosemary introduced me like as if she was introducing the queen.
Natasha gasped. 'Ohmygod, Rosemary, stop pulling my leg!'
'But she is! Look!' Rosemary pulled the collar of the jacket back. 'It says here! This coat belongs to Jayy Von Monroe.'
'Lemme see!' Raylene took a look. 'Oh my Jinxx! It really does!'
'Heya Roxie.' Ashley had finally signed the last fans items and come over.
'Hiya Ash. Ash, these are my new friends, Rosemary, Raylene, and Natasha.' I said.
Rosemary's eyes widened. 'We're your friends?'
'Of course, what else would you be?' I asked.
'Annoying fans, strangers, weirdos, the list goes on.' Said Natasha.
I giggled. 'Let's stick with friends.'
I gave them my number, before they sadly said that they had to go. They left, and Ashley sat me down, before going to get some food.
'Who the heck are you?' A girl approached, with two mates.
'Roxie.' I said in a quiet voice.
'You're aware you're sitting at our table.' She said, flipping her brunette locks.
'I don't see a name on it.' Ashley had returned, with a tray of food.
All three girls looked at him with awe.
'Jesus Christ.' Breathed one.
'Smoking stud.' Breathed the other.
The first one quickly composed herself. 'Oh, we were only saying hi! We have to go anyway now. C'mon you two!'
She flounced out, followed by the two girls. Ashley snorted.
'Yeah, right.' He muttered, sitting next to me. 'Open up lil' bat.'
I obediently opened my mouth, allowing him to feed me his fries, before feeding him mine.
'Nom nom.' He said, grinning. 'But you look even tastier.'
He suddenly pulled me against him, nibbling my cheeks.
'Eeeeep! Ashleeeeey!' I squealed, trying to escape. 'Lemme go!'
'Not on your nelly my lil' bat.' He growled playfully. 'Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom!'
When we got back, Jayy looked up from his book.
'Jesus Christ Roxie! What the fuck...'
'The guys decided to give her a design of warpaint.' Said Ashley.
Jayy swooped over, and peered closely at me. 'What are those marks on your cheek?'
He gently traced my cheek with a slender finger.
'No idea.' I lied.
'Hmmm...' He said, not sounding like he believed me.
'I made some new mates Jayy!' I said, quickly changing the subject.
His eyes widened. 'Really? What are their names?'
'Natasha, Raylene and Rosemary.' I said, as my phone gave three buzzes, indicating three separate texts, from my three new best mates.
