I gave a sigh myself, not really wanting to move myself – I was curled up in his arms, against Ashley, very comfortably.
‘We really should go. Or Jayy might just actually break down your door.’ I mumbled.
‘I know, I know.’ The bassist sighed, making no attempt to move himself.
BANG BANG BANG!
‘Alright, alright!’ Ashley yelled, sitting up.
I sat up too, only to find two warm weights on my legs.
‘Whut the – arg!’
The two ‘weights’ suddenly jumped upon me, showing me with licks.
‘Killer! Tokio!’ Ashley laughed.
‘You have dogs!’ I squealed as the fluff balls attempted to lick every part of my body in reach.
‘Yeah, I do. Oi, gerroff!’ Ashley said, slipping an arm round me as attempted to fend off the two dogs, who instead decided they would kiss him instead, ‘Hey! I didn’t mean onto me!’
BANG BANG!
As Jayy pounded on the door again, Killer and Tokio leapt off the bed, running down the hallways and the stairs, barking all the way.
‘Come on, or he really will break my door down.’
Pulling myself from his bed, I made my way downstairs, Ashley following after pulling some trousers on. As he overtook, pulling keys out his pocket, he unlocked the door, saying ‘Jayy, calm down…’
‘I’LL CALM DOWN WHEN I KNOW MY BABY SISTER IS OK! IF YOU HAVE DONE ANYTHING PURDY…’
‘Jayy! I’m ok!’ I managed to slip past Ashley to get to my brother, who immediately scooped me into a hug.
‘Dammit Roxie, the reason I get you a phone is so I know where you are! Next time, please, answer my text!’ he said, holding me tight.
‘Sorry Jayy…’ I mumbled.
He then pulled back, and saw what I was wearing.
‘Ashley Purdy… why is my sister wearing one of your shirts…’ he looked at Ashley, and his eyes widened. I looked and inwardly swore. On Ashley’s neck, was a hickey.
‘Did you… you better not have… Purdy, I am going to kill you!’ Jayy spluttered, pushing me behind him.
‘Jayy, calm, it’s not what it looks like…’ Ashley began
‘It looks like you two had sex!’
‘Jayy, we didn’t, I swear…’
‘How do I believe you?!’
‘For gods sake, Jeremy Griffis, shut up and listen!’ Jayy looked at me as I spoke – never had I used his full name.
‘Nothing happened, ok? I’m just wearing one of his shirts cause I couldn’t really sleep in my own clothing, m’kay?’ I explained.
Jayy exhaled slowly through his nose. ‘… Ok.’
I smiled. Over Jayy’s shoulder, I saw Ashley wipe his brow dramatically.
‘Don’t think you’re off the hook, Purdy. You hurt my baby sister in any way, and I will have your head cut off and strung up on my wall.’
‘IT’S ABOUT BLOODY TIME!’
Those were the first words I heard as I entered the McDonalds. Looking round, I saw the table of girls, grinning broadly, an array of food in front of them.
