Galaxy braked sharply and stood up on her hind legs as a person in a cloak emerged in front of us. Who was he? This cloak didn't belong to Crail. Others began to emerge from the parties.
Galaxy was spinning around on her own, looking for an escape route. Both, me and my clever mare knew there was no escape from this situation. We were perfectly surrounded.
"It seems like you're not going to let me go," I said. "By the way, if you think you surprised me, you're wrong. I've known about you for a while."
The person in front of me put his hand in front of him and began to mumble something quietly. So did others.
"Get out of here, Galaxy. Go back to Ralathor." I whispered in the unicorn's ear and jumped to the ground.
The mare ran over me with a look full of fear. The intelligence of these magical animals never ceased to fascinate me. I stroked her neck, then took a few steps back and slapped her ass hard. Galaxy screamed, kicked out her front legs, and rushed away.
Instinct told me that I didn't have much time for the mage to complete the spell, whatever it was.
I pulled out the hammer in a flash and, holding the big thing with both hands, lifted it high above my head.
"No!" One veiled person screamed.
Squatting, I let the hammer fly down and hit the ground, sending a powerful blast wave throughout my surroundings. It blasted the mages all over the place.
Some had the misfortune of standing too close to me. I could hear the pressure tearing their insides.
I released one hand from the hammer and drew my sword. I walked over to the masked person, who had previously stood in front of me, and kicked her from side to back with my foot So that I could see her or his face. The hood of the person slid down, revealing the face of a woman, about my age, with red hair.
I squatted down to her, grabbed her by them and pulled her to her feet.
She screamed and tried to free herself from my grasp. She cast some spell. I felt a wave of energy fly past me, but nothing happened. It had to be because of that eye.
Ever since I was stabbed with that cursed knife, not all magic has worked on me. Something happened to my right eye that day, but I couldn't tell what. I blamed the magic of that knife.
"Hoo... That was cute..." I smiled with a smirk.
I threw her to her knees and put my sword under her chin.
"Hey, the rest of you, don't move! Or I'll kill her before you can even open your mouth!" I said.
"So it's true, huh?" she said.
"What did you say?" I asked.
"That prophecy... That evil will arise from the fires of ancient cosmic destiny," she said. "And none of the legendary warriors will survive it."
I looked at her. I knew what was written in the prophecy. I used to laugh at it. I used to say that it was impossible for me to go to the dark side.
I bent down to her and brought my mouth closer to her ear so that only she could hear me.
"Hootsman is sending me," I said. "He knew you were going to try to kill me, so he came up with a code that both you and he knew, to prove myself. The code is easy, I found it pathetic, but... It's... Apocalypse 1992... "
