Did we win?

My smile faded as I felt the cold metal pass through my body. I took a step back and fell to my knees.
"H-how..." I got out of myself before I started coughing up blood.
"We knew you were going to try to turn our trap against us. So we did it too," Hootsman shrugged.
"Sorry, Angus. You're too dangerous to let you live."
I was shaking with exertion.
No! That's certainly not how I imagined my death. It shouldn't have turned out this way.
I tried to get up, but the axe that was stuck in my body did not allow me to do so. My clothes were wet with my blood and a puddle began to form under me. I felt a cold creep into my limbs.
I laughed.
"I died a long time ago anyway," I chuckled. "Then... In Schiehallion. Your Angus died." I moved with the weapon, but I felt my insides move as well.
I fell to the hard ground, to my blood. I was breathing heavily.
"H-hey... Ralathor..." I got out of myself. "Did we win? Back then..." "No, my king..." he said with tears in his eyes. "He's alive. But I'm going to kill him. For you..."
"I am… So sorry... It is my fault, that he is back... I was the one... Who resurrected him... " I whispered. "Goodbye..."
My eyes were closing. I slowly fell asleep and stopped feeling the pain. I knew my end was near.

Tears streamed down Ralathor's face when he saw the man dying in front of him. He knew he couldn't help him. He knew it was for the good of humanity.
"Good night, Angie." he said. "We'll meet in Dundee... In our Dundee..."
It was then that Angus McFife XIII died. Zargothrax smiled and opened a portal to the past.
"See you in 1022AD, Angus," he said, passing.
No one knew that the Zargothrax they were gonna fight here was not the original, but a clone. This clone tried to change the future by reviving McFife, who had committed suicide at the Schiehallion.
Little did he know, however, that Ralathor would figure it out and things will turn out the way they did. Dundee was rescued with the death of the one who once protected it.
With the death of Angus McFife XIII.
