"Now that we're alone," March said as he closed the door shut. "What do you want to do?"

"Dunno. You dragged me here." I shrugged and settled myself on his bed as I take in my surroundings.

March's room is all pale yellow and white. There's some posters on his wall. I bet it's concert posters or posters of his favorite shows or something. On the upper left corner of the room there's a white wooden desk with a spindly chair. And oh my gosh, the table's so messy. Messier than mine in fact. Stacks of worksheets and blank papers here and there, drawing sketches, encyclopedias, comics, novels all jumbled into one. March seemed to have noticed where my gaze had gone because he hurried off to his desk immediately.

"Ah, yes, I'm quite a messy person. Pardon me." March stumbled as he tried to shove a bunch of markers inside a plastic cup.

"It's alright. I'm a messy person too." I waved my hand to dismiss it. "And contrary to what your mom said, not all girls judged guys with messy rooms in a bad way. In fact, people with messy rooms are considered to have a high level of creativity which I'm pretty sure you have."

"Why thank you. Care to examine a couple of my drawings to judge that info?"

"Why not."

I grabbed the sheet of paper March gave me. Without him mentioning the character's identity, I knew exactly who it is. Britney Sterling. She's drawn from the right side perspective. She's wearing some kind of fluffy winter hat, comfy like sweater that's a little bit askew on the shoulders, revealing her tank top's straps. Little circles and snowflakes served as background for the scenery. To be honest, I like this picture. It looks amazing. Imagine having yourself being drawn by an amazing art student. You should be flattered!

"I suppose you knew whom I draw?" March peeked as he sat beside me.

"Yeah. It's so obvious. It's Britney, right?"

"Yeah. I drew this back then when I still had feelings for her." March gave a disappointed sigh.

I nearly crumpled the piece of paper as my hand reached out for his shoulder. "March, listen I-I'm so sorry. I mean it. I shouldn't have let you chase false hope. Foolish and evil of me to do so."

"Scarlette don't go so harsh on yourself. I know it looks like you're torturing me, letting me chase false hope but that's not your intentions was it? Your intentions is to protect me from the harsh things emotions can do to someone. And I appreciate it, I really do. You don't have to apologize repeatedly , you know. I forgive and trusted you no matter what. Promise." March stuck out his pinkie which I linked to mine immediately.

"Trust is a hard thing to get, eh?"

"For real."

"Oh and while you're showing me your amazing illustration, I got an idea but I'm not sure whether you'll be burden by it."

"Shoot away. I'm bored anyways."

"Okay.... Would you mind if I ask you to draw the both of us? Like I don't know it can be an inexistent moment or it can be your favorite part of our friendship. Up to you. I just want to see how you see me. How you interpret me in a bunch of squiggly lines on a piece of paper."

"That's actually a pretty good idea. Drawing people takes time and I don't want you to grow bored seeing me draw. You can pick a good book from my bookshelves. And while you're at it, you did say you want to return my book so go ahead. Perhaps borrow another one if you want to."

"Alright. Thanks, March."

"My pleasure. Just being a good friend and host." March flashed his signature smile again before settling himself comfortably on his bed, this time with a drawing pad, set of pencils and eraser.
