Her skates scraped against the ice as she prepared herself to do the Salchow Jump. She started slowly, building momentum then finally lifted off the ground . Her skates planted themselves with a satisfying screech.

While wait for Terra's Zanbaq, Augustine decided to clear her mind and figure skate. Figure skating had always been something she found a safe space in. It started when she was new to the Astérix kingdom and everything overwhelmed her, her mum advised her to try activities that would help her clear her mind. She tried many things but the only one that really made her feel calm was figure skating.

She skated over to where she had left her phone. Clicking and saw dozens of missed messages from Stella and one missed call from Bloom.

Her heart dropped as she realized that she lost track of time.

"Fuck." She cursed, taking off her skates carefully and putting on sneakers.

Augustine used a trick her mum had taught her. She froze over her ice skates and minimized them using the frozen water around it. She slipped it into her pocket and took off.

When she neared the group, they were all there.

Stella stood with her arms giving Augustine a disappointed look.

"Look who decided to show up." Stella said, her voice sounded snarky.

Augustine sighed, "I know, I know. Sorry, I lost track of time."

As Stella opened her mouth again, Aisha cut her off. "As much as we'd all love to hear this conversation, we're here for Bloom."

Augustine nodded her head.

The group crossed the barrier.

"Do we know where the barn is?" Aisha asked.

Terra replied, "Um yes, North." She laughed to herself, "There's this little stump that looks like an old-."

Stella interrupted her, "Show. Don't tell." She said.

"Uh guys, what if Stella's ring isn't with the Burned one?" Augustine asked.

"We'll keep looking." Said Bloom, looking determined.

Augustine sighed for what might not be the last time.

Her phone buzzed in the pocket of her grey hoodie. She slipped it out, keeping in pace with the rest of the group.

REVEREND RIVEN 🙏: hey

THE WATER BENDER: hi

REVEREND RIVEN 🙏: doing anything important rn?

THE WATER BENDER: yeah, i'm with my friends. what's up

Riven started typing back.

"Augustine," called Bloom. The curly haired girl looked up from her phone and saw that she had been left behind, slipping her phone back into her pocket and she jogged to the rest of the group.

Augustine followed Bloom, Aisha and Stella to the barn doors while Terra and Musa went somewhere else.

"Ready?" Bloom said.

She pulled the doors open just to come face with than empty room.

An eerily feeling overcame Augustine. "I think we should go."

Stella rolled her eyes, "You were all for helping Bloom and now you're going back on your words?"

Augustine rolled her eyes, feeling irritated with Stella's attitude. She had been breathing down Augustine and it was getting too much.
