RIVEN DIDNT leave until later. Or more exactly, Riven didn't leave until Stella came back and threatened him into leaving.

Augustine would have told you a straight lie if you asked her if she enjoyed Riven's presence a little more than how a normal friend would.

So that's how Augustine ended up with a goofy smile on her face, in the bathroom as she tried to tame her hair for the day.

When she was done she checked her phone for the first time that morning. The latest message was from 20 minutes ago from Stella.

Stella 💕
meet me where the specialist train.

Augustine looked out the window at the gloomy sky and her mood dimmed slightly as she thought about what the humidity would do to her hair.

_____________

Augustine walked along the wet pathway from previous rain the night before.

When she got there she saw Stella sitting down on the bench with her phone out texting. Augustine happily sat next to her with an unnaturally happy grin permanently stamped on her face.

Stella looked up from her phone, she stared at Augustine suspiciously.

The brunette frowned, "What?"

Stella checked the time on her phone and spoke, "It's early and your happy."

Augustine raised an eyebrow, fighting off the urge to laugh. "So?"

Stella looked at her blankly, "You hate mornings."

Augustine shook her head in denial, "No I don't. I love mornings, It's always so beautiful!"

Stella looked disgusted, "You're scaring me, August darling. Stop."

Gently shoving her friend, Augustine rolled her eyes then changed the subject, "Anyways, why'd you want me to come here?"

Stella looked ahead at the specialist who brawled in their practice. "I'm going to talk to Sky."

Augustine felt mildly annoyed, "And I need to be here because..?"

"Rivens here too." Stella added with a small smirk.

Augustine cursed herself for blushing. "So?" She said again.

Stella rolled her eyes, "I'm pretty sure you like him so I decided to help you out."

Augustine shook her head, "No! You don't have to help me at all. And I don't like R-,"

Someone cut her off.

"Like who?" Sky said, walking past Augustine attempting to ruffle her hair but she moved before he could.

He chuckled as he sat next to Stella.

"Bitch." Augustine grumbled, taking out her phone and using the camera to check her hair.

"Woah, I never thought I'd hear a princess with such a naughty mouth." Riven teased, sitting next to Augustine, loosely placing his arm around Augustine's shoulder.

The water fairy blushed but shrugged his arm off  hastily, "You're sweaty, gross."

Riven shrugged with a smirk and Sky spoke up. He had a mischievous look in his eyes. "Like I said before, like who?"
