"whats wrong! why does everyone look like you just received the news of your partner getting knocked up by your best friend" jimin spoke up, when a tense and moody silence had settled and he clumsily chuckled cracking an almost dumb joke in attempt to lower and lighten the intensity in the air
"you're all supposed to atleast pretend to laugh people... am i not funny?" jimin entered the living room with a tray full of fried chicken and next to him was seokjin holding some more snacks and drinks
everyone still sat there with their unreadable, expressionless faces. yoongi visibly showing his annoyance by rolling his eyes st jimin
jimin cracked another joke and laughed at it himself, looking around to see nobody including jungkook and seokjin giving him attention. everyone was doing their own thing, not even bothering to look up at jimin
"look no offense but i dont know if its your joke that is utterly senseless or if you're just dumb" yoongi gave a small mirthless smile. hoseok threw a questioning stare at yoongi for being unnecessarily rude to jimin "what? he asked if he's funny or not and i had to be honest" yoongi broke from hoseok's gaze
jimin and seokjin placed all the drinks and snacks that they had bought on the table
"okay attention everyone" jimin cleared his throat. everyone except for yoongi who was too busy on his phone, looked up to face a very oddly happy looking jimin making some announcement, it was strange because they expected jimin to cry or snap at them for ruining his fancy birthday party by throwing an uncalled fight with one of the guests
"i said everyone" yoongi got the hint and lazily looked up
"look guys im just glad those asshats went, they were self-invited guests anyway so its a relief they left on their own without me having to chase them out. as you can see the night is still young and the real party is yet to be-"
"what do you want shorty, go back to your liliput land and fucking sleep. im out" yoongi stood up and cut jimin before he could even finish
the fuck is your problem. you were on the list on uninvited guests as well, if you dont wanna stay you're free to go home but let me inform you that i have a mini bar here with free unlimited alcohol... you wanna trade this with sleep then please go ahead nobody's stopping" jimin knew how no mam would turn a blind eye to alcohol and sex
yoongi scoffed at his defeat and say back down, everyone snorted at how yoongi was so weak for free alcohol before moving their attention back to jimin "... where was i? err.. right, what i meant was.. there is music, there is booze and most important - couples. so we're having a party"
"party?"
"c-couples who?"
"did you just say booze? okay im in..."
"with only the six of us?"
jungkook got up from his place to help jimin in announcing their lowkey party "guys guys guys... no not six tae, there's another guest coming in so we'll be eight"
all of this was jungkook's idea, he had felt very guilty about the whole mess that was caused at jimin's birthday and to make up for all that, he decided to co-host another mini party although it is probably past midnight now and jimin's birthday is technically over
"whos that" taehyung asked curiously
"obviously joon hyung and rose noona"
everyone went oh when seokjin was a little lost, he didn't know who they were talking about
"jinnie looks a little lost" jimin walked to seokjin and whispered to him "ah so namjoon hyung is a part of their dumb sucking squad or whatever they call it" he said looking at yoongi, jungkook and taehyung who already started greedily pouring the beer in their mugs
