[ Goodbye Mondstadt, Hello Liyue ]

After leaving Mondstadt and arriving at Liyue, the group almost collapsed to the ground when they got to the waypoint, since it took a few days to get to Liyue harbor.

Well, except for Winter, Aster and Sakura because they were used to this. " Ughhhh, Paimon's tired... " " How can you be tired? You're literally floating... " Y/n says as the Twins agreed with them.

" Hey! It takes a lot of energy! " Paimon pouts as the others sigh at her behavior. " But anyways, if you want to find the Geo Archon. This is the only chance you'll get all year."

" Guess it's a good thing that Tone-Deaf Bard brought it up earlier, otherwise we definitely would've missed this year's Rite of Descension." Winter knowing what will happen after the Rite, wanted to find Childe to skip his introduction and get to the point. And also to meet a certain Adeptus. (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠)

And so that was her plan, as they continue on like in the Archon quest. They went to the place where the Rite is being held, made some wishes and it had started.

After a lot of asking around, they finally made it to Yujing Terrace, where the Rite of Descension will be held. Upon arriving, a crowd has already gathered around in the center.

"Paimon heard the best day to make a wish is during the Rite of Descension," Paimon turned to the group with a big smile, "Wanna give it a try?" Sakura smiled, "I suppose it wouldn't be a problem to try. Though,I'd rather wish upon a shooting star."

Aster nodded,agreeing with Sakura. "I get what you mean! Seeing a shooting star is the best! Especially if it's gold!" The twins nodded, "But let's try going along with Liyue's culture, shall we?'' Aether spoke.

The group went to a censer. There happened to be a woman there, and she couldn't help but ask, "Do you want a little Adepti luck too?" The group nodded, and the woman smiled, "Making a wish during this time is sure to get you the blessings of both the Adepti and Rex Lapis himself. I've already made a wish, so take this," The woman gave them each incense,and they thanked the woman.

After placing the incense in the censer, the group gathered around and closed their eyes, putting a hand to their chest.

'I wish to find my way back home.' The twins thought.

Winter had a hard time thinking about what to wish for when they were walking, but in the end she only thought about one wish, 'I want to learn more about my brother.'

Aster smiled as she made her wish, 'I wish that everyone will be happy by the end of this journey.'

Sakura was used to making wishes while looking at a shooting star, so wishing like this was foreign to her. But even so, she smiled and made a wish, holding her necklace to her chest, 'I wish that I'll meet more people in the future.'

Y/n opened one of their eyes and smiled seeing everyone's eyes closed. Y/n closed their eyes and started making a wish, 'I wish that we'll all stay by each other's side.'

The censer glowed,acknowledging their wishes. Seeing this, they smiled, and went on to the next censer.

The man near the censer told them about the adepti, "Most of the adepti appear in the form of various beasts. I heard that when attending these kinds of formal occasions, Rex Lapis himself appears as a Celestial cross between the two of Liyue's ancient mythical creatures.."
