3rd person pov:

It was a warm sunny day in Connecticut... that was until Camilla had gotten a call from her daughter Lucia's principal for the 4th time that week
But this time was different, this time was more serious than the last. Lucia had gotten into a fight with some kid and broke their jaw and nose.
Camilla angrily left their home and quickly drove down to the school

*at the school*

Lucia was seated next to the kid she had just fought with, when her mother walked into the principals office.

"Good afternoon Mrs.Noceda, how lovely of you to join us" Principal Washington spoke calmly signing for her to take a seat.

Camilla shot Lucia a glare as she sat down and began to speak.

"Same to you principal Washington" she started "But what has Lucia done this time for you to call me down?" She asked wanting to know the full situation.

"Well as you see Mrs. Noceda." He replied "Lucia here was spotted fighting with Matthew in the school's parking lot during the lunch break." He continued.

Camilla looked at her daughter in disbelief and questioned her saying

"Mija.. is this true?" She questioned still in shock

Lucia just sat there not wanting to look at ber mothers disappointed face

"Si mami.." was all she could say as she felt a tear threatening to fall.

Camilla gently got up and apologized to the parents of Matthew and took Lucia by the ears. Lucia being nearly 6ft 1in had to bend as her mother dragged her by the ear.

When they had gotten to Camilla's car, she drove them home amd the drive home was silent. Not the kind of silent you feel when cuddling with your lover.... Oh no no no this one was far from that. It was the kind of silence you felt when talking to someone you dont like to well. The uncomfortable kind.

Lucia started feeling akward and decided to break the silence.

"Mami..?" She started

"Yes mija?" Her mother answered

"Uhmm.." she felt her breath begin to hitch

"A.. a-are you mad at me?? She said chocking back tears

Camilla sighed and answered her daughter

"No mija..im not mad at you.. i just.." she stopped as she parked her car "i just need some time to think..."she continued "so ive decided that im goimg to send you to a close friend of mine .. y'know Edalyn right?? You loved her as a kid, so you're going to stay with her in L.A. "

Lucia couldn't believe her mother's words as tears started to flow down her slightly bruised cheeks

"No no no... you can't be serious right??." She said looking at her mother with pleading eyes. "Right?!!!." She said raising her voice higher still looking at her mother who didnt say a word.

"I'm sorry Lucia but I've packed your bags already... youre leaving by 3pm your flights by 6pm."

Lucia just took her bag and ran inside tbe house, blocking the sounds of her mother calling her name. She ran up to her room and looked her doors.

She couldn't beleive it. Her mother was about to send her away. Away from her friends. The only good thing about it was her girlfriend Amber who moved to L.A 2 months ago, but asides that Lucia felt as if she were being hit by a train of different emotions. She didnt know whether she should feel happy to see her girlfriend after being seperated for 2 months, or sad to leave her friends behind or to feel angry that her mother was sending her away.

She just decided to shrug it off and go to sleep.

"Tommorow is not going to be fun" she said as she felt her eyes slowly getting heavy. Then before she knew it she was asleep.
