New encounters

Amelia's pov

As i woke up i was greeted with the sounds of my older siblings aimlessly arguing about something in the kitchen and what not. I slowly made my way towards and i could finnally get a grasph of what they were saying.

"Ed! I said dont pour the milk in yet!" Emira exclaimed whilst lightly shoving her twin away from the mixture. "Move let me handle it."

"Nuh-uh" Ed said sticking out his tongue from behind the counter. "The recipe says add the milk before the eggs!" Edric added still holding on to the subject

"Well i dont care were doing eggs before milk." Emira said as she rolled her eyes.

Before Ed could speak up again i cut him off.

"What are you nitwits arguing about this early??" I spat out before making my cereal.

Emira huffed out "Well... when making pancakes Ed puts his milk before the eggs!
And i was tellig him that it'sthe other way around, and he just would not accept it.

I sighed "well it's whatever i pour mine both at the same time."

Ed looked at Em then at me and then Em again.

"Why..just why??" They both asked me at the same time. Their faces filled witb both worry and disgust.

I just shrugged it of and headed upstairs to get ready for the day.

When i checked my phone it was around 11am so i decided to head to the library and study for the upcoming tests we had in physics and chemistry....

Time skip

It was 2pm wheni had finished studying and i was on my phone texting boscha.. we both agreed thay we would meet at a nearby cafe with skara. So thay was where i was headed until i bumped into someone.

When i looked up i met their warm brown eyes gazing at me filled with full apology.
As i collected my book from them i noticed that they were around 6ft tall.

"Thats pretty god damn tall" i said in my head as i walked away. Something about them was different.. i dont know whether it was good different or bad different but it was definetly something, and it was a something that i couldnt quite pin point.

Before i knew my thought were only about that person i bumped into. Fate had its ways and for us to have that kind of encounter. One that was different from the others. I knew i would see that person a lot more often.

I quickly got snapped back to reality as i heard Skara call my name. I looked over to the silver haired girl as she violently waved her hands at me and i waved back.

"Sooooo... whose ready for our hangout?!!" Skara said obviously more excited than Boscha and I. But Boscha matched her excitment. I knew they had planned something whilst i was gone but they wouldnt tell me anything.

As we made our way to the arcade i saw one of our schoolmates Amber hanging out with someone that looked oddly familiar.

It was her. Bosha and Skara went to go get food so it was just me. Apparently i was staring to long because the taller person noticed then took what seemed to be an excuse and walked over to me.

"Hello!" Said the latina infront of me

"I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I wasnt looking at where i was going and i bumped into you and shit i just wanted to say that i am very sorry. And that you dropped this." She continued handing me my student ID. I looked at it wide eyed before looking back at the latina gratefully.

"Omg thank you, you're such a life saver.. i don't know what i would've done without you thank you so much." I thanked the latina again.

"Lucia. Lucia Noceda" she held out her hand politely for me to shake it and which i did.

"Amelia. Amelia Blight" i said smilimg at her.

She looked around awkwardly before speaking up

"Uhm.. i know this sudden but could i get your number?? I just moved here and you seem nice and the only person i know here is my girlfriend." She said sheepishly looking at the girl behind her.

"Dont sweat it its no problem." I reached into my pocket grabbing a pen and a notebook paper writing my number on it.

"Here.. call whenever you like" i said giving her a whole hearted smile. She thanked me and said she would call by 9pm before leaving.

"Lucia huh...?" I said to myself

"Cant wait to know you better" i said as i was walking towards my group with a small grin on my face.
