Finals prep

3rd person POV:  2 weeks later

The time had come...

The time Lucia had dreaded while being a senior in highschool...

Finals exam.

She always dreaded it, being barely above average in grades, she really had to up her grade this finals.

Hours prior to this Lucia had received a call from Camila.

"Lucia,  You're in your senior year, tienes que pasar"

"Si mami, lo haré"

"Estás manejando bien tus emociones, pero necesito seriamente que te concentres"

"Lo haré Mami. Bien?"

"Esta bien Lucia te quiero mucho"

"Te amo mas mami"

Lucia was now sitting at a cafe trying to catch up on all the school work which she had promptly ignored, leading to a backlash on her part.

She was living off 2 large coffee cups every day, for the past week, hardly having enough time for friends, family, even her girlfriend. 

After the party, Lucia had told Amelia everything that she saw, although getting an earful from Amelia, complaining on why she didn't notify her about her whereabouts. Lucia apologised a lot and got the silent treatment for 3 days before she was finally forgiven.

Sleep deprived and on the verge of snapping, she hadn't noticed the fairly familiar figure that approached her.

Shocked, Lucia jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder, nearly falling on the floor. She looked up to meet Alice looking at her with apologetic eyes.

She steadied her heartbeat before turning to the girl, now slightly pissed at her for giving her a mini near heart attack, "What is it Alice?" She asked, gesturing the younger girl to the sit across from her. "Well I was hoping if you could help tutor me..."She replied, quite a bit shyly. Lucia looked at her, then behind them both to see if there was anyone else named Lucia that she was talking to. Once she came to the realization that it was her, she bursted out in a fit of laughter. Alice just stared at her awkwardly, waiting for Lucia to stop laughing.

"I'm sorry that was just the best laugh I've had in awhile.." She spoke, cleaning a tear from her eye.

"Okay but in all seriousness will you tutor me?" Alice spoke with determination this time. Lucia looked at her and sighed, "Give me a minute" She replied bring out her phone, sending someone a message.

"Look I come dead last... If anything were both in the same boat." Lucia said laughing at her own remark, earning a small chuckle from Alice. "I called Amelia, she should be here, right about now-"

"Lucia!" Amelia said panting and trying to get her, earning few looks from the workers.

Raine had let them use Lucia use their shop so she could study uninterrupted, of course they made an exception for Alice cause she worked there.

"You motherfucker, I thought you were in danger." Amelia said as she sat next to said girl.

"Yes we are in danger," Lucia said looking at Alice then back to her. She followed her eyes for a bit and looked at Alice who gave a small smile.

"In danger of failing.." Alice completed as they both looked at Amelia who had a disappointed face and sighed.

"Come on let's go to the library. I don't have any books on me right now." Amelia spoke as she left, not waiting for the two to catch up.

"Thank you!' They both shouted simultaneously as they got up packing their things, to catch up with Amelia.

"I swear, you're both idiots" They were walking out the local library, because, Lucia and Alice got into this argument about the recent game that took place a few days ago, resulting in them getting kicked out by the librarian. 

"I don't know why you're blaming us, We weren't even making that much noise!" Alice said flaring her hands up in the air.

"I know right, why can't two fully matured teenagers have a little dispute on something?! We weren't even that loud!" Lucia said with frustration as she sat down on a bench outside the library.

Amelia had nearly had enough of the two, she let out an annoyed groan, rubbing her temples, before sitting on the bench beside Lucia as Alice sat on the arm rest beside Lucia.

"Look, the two of you I left for 5 minutes to go get a biology textbook and I heard your argument from all the way there. It wasn't little." Amelia said sternly and clearly annoyed, the duo both hung their head or looked away from Amelia's burning glare.

"Babee.. We're sorry right Alice?" Lucia said elbowing Alice, Alice nodding profusely and smiling nervously.

Amelia was about to comment before her phone went off. She excused herself, later coming back telling the two that she was needed at home. They bid each other farewell before Alice and Lucia called Boscha over to hangout with them, since she was the only available one. Bosha had invited them to a party at her house so they went to meet there after stopping at Lucia's house.

Lucia's POV:

"Make yourself at home" I said as Alice and I walked into my room. I kicked my shoes off as Alice flopped face first on my bed.

"Your room looks sick.." She said as she hung her head off the edge of the bed. "Thanks, you can wear some of my clothes for the party, we are almost the same size." I said as I picked out a black shirt and basketball shorts for her.

"Thanks" She said as she got up and walked over to me, grabbing the clothes.

"Bathroom is down the hall to your left!" I yelled sure that she heard, before pulling out a white wife beater and baggy jeans and a baseball cap.

I called Amelia's phone to notify her about where I am going, and since I hadn't seen her since she left to go home. I was starting to get worried, she just left without telling me anything. I'm sure she is fine, tonight im just gonna enjoy myself with Alice and Boscha.

I hope she is alright.

On Amelia's end, when she got the call.

Amelia's POV:

"What is it Ed?" 

"Mittens! You need to come home! Like right now!"

"What?"

"Look Amelia we don't have time to explain but mom's gonna loose it if you aren't home like.... 10 MINUTES FROM NOW!"

I was confused by that call, they normally call me out of the blue and at random times, but this time they sounded serious, and if it is what I think it is.... I'm in big trouble....

Amelia's birthday is near, meaning the angst is getting more and more, I've done some reviewing and I've made some corrections to the hc's just in case there are  those of you that get confused
