It has been two weeks, ever since you stepped foot in sumeru, the land of wisdom. You were supposed to spy on the traveller who has been causing trouble to the fatui. But little did they know you were actually protecting aether and paimon, you told them about the fatui's plans on what dottore told you. In which you would also help him and paimon escape some fatui on the way.
Why were you helping him? Simple he saved your little sister from dottore, to which you are dearly thankful for doing so and that you were under his debt. So now you are just returning the favor, but as time go on he started treating you with care, and like someone who is important and not just a tool or a mere servant of the fatui.
And its also been a week where you met the famous, General Mahamatra who you also gotten quite close with. But not to close since you would apparently have to leave. Aether knows of your mission, but sometimes he can't help but wonder why you still stayed at the fatui, since he alredy saved your sister.
In which you answered his question, "I can't leave them.. since I am merely a servant sold to the fatui and who works under them. Even if I did quit I would still get killed" he then nodded Understanding your whole explanation. And the only way for you to be free is

You and cyno gotten closer, eventually you caught feelings for him but you know it was forbidden. He was a well respected general, a scholar while you were apart of the fatui. It wouldn't work so you decided to end the friendship there which he was confused.
