"Now, now amber without mistakes you would never be able to master your gliding" you told the girl as you patched her up. "I know but its the third time I failed and now I ended up with a bruise" she said with a low tone.
"Yes things happen but we all have to learn from it so that we could improve and be better at what we desire to do–" you patted her head, "–now let's head back inside" you said as you outstretched your handto which she grabbed and pulled herself up.
"Yeah let's head back in and eat some sticky honey toast!" She exclaimed as she started heading back to your house, you chuckled as you followed behind her.

"You can do it amber, don't be afraid you can do this" you told the nervous girl, "I don't know y/n the other competitors are surely going to win like that guy!" She pointed at a guy who was stretching and clearlt flexing.
You sighed as you patted her head, "Now how about this if you win I will give you my glider?" You told her to which her eyes shined brightly. "But what are you going to use?" She said.
"Don't mind that, just focus on what's ahead of you" you told her "but–" "Challengers please proceed to the starting area the gliding competition is starting soon" it announced, you smiled as you ushered amber to go ahead and wished her the best.

"And the winner of this year's gliding event is!!–" the announcer said, to which everybody awaited for the champion. "Amber from the knights of the favonius!!" Once it was announced everybody cheeree loudly for amber.
You smiled at the sight of her smiling and holding a small trophy, she then went down and started heading to you. "Y/n, I won!!" She said as she pulled you in for a tight hug, "yes you did amber, yes you did and for that you get to have a brand new glider!" You told her.
You then handed her your glider to which she gently took and stared at it with stars on her eyes, you smiled at the sight infront of you and you wouldn't trade amber for anything or anyone.

As the years go on amber became confident in her skills of gliding and won most of the competitions to which you were proud of her and you of course celebrated at this, but good things don't last forever right? Or will it?

Amber sighed as she looked over mondstadt, it has been 4 years since you left her to go to inazuma for a mission. You weren't supposed to be gone for so long but the crew who bought you there fleed from the nation once you were there already.
And there were no signs of you or any way to contact you since the nation is fully secured with the shogun's army, and no one has heard from you ever since you stepped foot in inazuma.
She felt sad that the person who inspires her, who helped her to become who she was today just disappear in a nation, she blamed herself for not stopping you she felt sad that the person who she looks up to is gone.
You weren't there when she got officially part of the knights and got her title as Outrider amber, you weren't there when she wanted you too be but it was impossible you were gone, stuck in inazuma, unheard for 4 years.
But you will keep your promise right? To come back alive and spend time together like before, you'll do it right? You won't break the promise yoyade with her.
