한 송이 매화 Hansongi Maehwa The Last Plum Blossom, is a work of fiction. Any resemblances to actual events or persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
This story is centered around the events that took place during the Mongol invasion and the ultimate rule of the Yuan Dynasty under Kubali Khan over Goryeo.
The story tries to portray the events of 1270-1273 Sambyeolcho Rebellion. A forgotten event in the history of Goryeo and lost in the pages of Goryeosa.
However, the Sambyeolcho Rebellion of 1270 and the Mongol invasions are real. For the sake of depth, character and colour in the story, the portrayal of characters in this story are my imagination and is fiction and have no factual basis.
