chapter nine
Eunbyul's POV
I could only hear the sound of people chattering outside the room, nothing from the inside. It was quiet too quiet. All of us were shocked and confused on what happened to Hoseok, we couldn't figure out what he did.
I tried to remember the name that I found when I was in his house. 'Cho Nara' it says, it felt strange to see him crying and begging for her to comeback. I looked at Hoseok in his hospital bed soundly speaking, he looked so at peace. I wonder who that girl was.
There were so many thoughts in my mind trying to figure out who she was. Maybe she was a relative? a sister or was she his girlfriend?

The boys and I took turns in taking care of him, sometimes it's just me or sometimes it would be all of us. It's already been a week yet he was still unconscious, the doctor said maybe it was because of the amount of sleeping pills he took but he wasn't sure when he was going to wake up.
It's sunday and it's my time to take care of him. The boys had some things to do so I volunteered because I wanted to make sure he is okay.
'E-eunbyul?' I heard him whisper
'Hoseok, a-are you okay!? Should I call the d-doctor?! Wait stay right here okay!?' I panicked realizing he was already awake. I stood up pressing the buzzer multiple times to call a nurse. He weakly laughed at me asking me to stop.
'Are you okay?' I sat down holding his hand but he just smiled at me.
'D-do you w-want to t-talk about it?' Silently suggesting maybe he wants someone to talk to.
'It's been exactly a year since she left me' He sighed playing with my fingers. She left him? I looked at him telling him that I'm listening.
'She's my girlfriend,she still is.' He smiled
'But I couldn't save her, I was too selfish. I didn't even realized that she was hurting. She kept it from me. She never told me she was abused' I noticed a teardrop falling from his eye as he sniffed and wiped it.
'W-why didn't she tell me? I could have saved her. She was miserable she didn't even show it. I never noticed. When she's down I always ask her if she was okay but she always avoids the questions telling me that she was.' He cried as I hugged him trying to process eveything he said.
'H-how did you find out?' I asked praying that he wasn't offended by my question. I released him from the hug looking at him. He was broken, too broken.
'I-i was t-there when she jumped,I n-never expected it to happen. I brought her to t-the hospital wishing, asking for a miracle that she would still be a-alive but no a miracle didn't happen' He paused looking down with the tears still falling from his eyes.
'I noticed all the scars,the bruises that was all over her body that I didn't even notice it when we were together. I wasn't able to h-help her, I didn't even try' He cried covering his face with his hands. I took the oppurtunity to hug him again, to hug him tight. I never imagined him to be like this, he was hiding everything that he was feeling. I couldn't help him but I want to try. I will try.
'Oh Hoseok, Please I know everything is not gonna be okay but I'm here you know? I'm gonna listen to you. I won't judge you nor leave you. We will listen to you all of us okay?' I assured him lifting his head as he nodded and wipe the tears from his eyes. I smiled at the sight of him agreeing to what I just said.
'D-do y-you want to meet her Eunbyullie?' He asked me I of course nodded grinning at him as he also did.
'Yes I would love to, I bet she was so beautiful right?' He laughed and nodded
'She's gorgeous, she looks like a Victoria's Secret model to me you know' I giggled rubbing his back.
'I bet she is. Now would y-you tell me how you met her?' I was so interested how this fella met Nara, I bet she was beautiful just like how Hoseok described her.
'Well she was in the crowd when I was dancing in a competition I joined. I saw her there it was like love at first sight you know?' He laughed telling me the story of it. I listened to everything he said maybe he needed someone to talk to, someone who was willing to listen to everything he says. He was there when I needed someone now maybe it's now time for me to do the same.
To listen to him.
Just like how he always listen to me.
