꧁𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵꧂ 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 — it really depends on how well you know alyssa, or how well she lets you get to know her, on what she is like. with the people she is comfortable with, she's a very happy and outgoing girl. she loves to crack jokes and is always trying to have some fun. she's not one who always takes things seriously, but knows when she has to and can totally do that. she's very honest. even much so that most people can even find her quite rude. this girl trully just says whatever is on her mind, no second thought. she's a true sucker for romance and loves the little things in life. she doesn't need much more than some rain and a sky full of stars to have a good night. she does however find it quite hard to let people get close to her. she never had a father figure and her mother kicking her out felt like a true act of betrayal. while she now has her own family, it took them a long time before they all got used to eachother and started to trust eachother. she has some trust issues and she takes her time to observe if she can properly trust someone. she'll put on a show though. it's not like she's mean or anything when you first meet her, but it'll clear she is trying to keep her distance. she doesn't talk about herself and i always trying to turn the conversation back to whoever she is talking to. but she is quite charismatic and seems to be pulling it off quite well, so she has never really seen a reason to change anything. she likes her alone time a lot. she doesn't mind being around eachother, but keeping up your wall can be exhausting sometimes and she needs those little breaks. 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 — nineteen years ago, lydia and barry warren found out they were expecting a little girl. the two were a very happy couple, not very rich, but happy nonetheless. while lydia stayed at home, taking care of alyssas older sister and her pregnant self, barry was out there trying to earn some money to provide for his family. once little alyssa arrived, things started to go down a little. they needed more money to support both of their children, but there weren't enough opportunities to do so. and so barry made a deal. he made a very dangerous deal with a man to smuggle some illegal goods into the lands. this went okay for a year of three, and though it didn't earn him as much as he might have wanted to, everyone had dinner at night and a roof above their head. but criminal activities can only go right for so long. barry did not manage to fulfill a delivery on time and had no way to make up for it, and this cost him his life. ever since then, it's just been lydia, myra and alyssa. her mother took every little job she could find while also taking care of her little girls. alyssa did not come from much, but she's determined to make a life for herself. when she grew up, she eventually found out about how her father passed and started to resent him, and her mother too. how could they possibly have thought that criminal activities were the way to act? when alyssa was fifteen, she got into a massive fight with her mother and sister, and she left. just like that. but where to go? her name was known with the.. former friends of her father, so it wasn't safe to stay. but, alyssa is from elos. she grew up there, but she couldn't stay. so, she decided the best thing she could do was move to uharis, and so she did. being only fifteen and having to basically sneek into your enemy country and be quite difficult though, but she made some friends along the way. during her travels, she met a nice young man who helped her cross. turns out he and his mother, who was well in her sixties, lived together, and they were more than happy to take her. so that's where she's been ever since, with her basically adoptive mother and adoptive brother. she wants to take care of herself, learn how to make money and be succesful, and that's what she's trying to accomplish. 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 — alyssa is quite physically strong. not in a combat kind of way, but she takes care of her body. her stamina is pretty good, and let's just say she can take care of herself. she's also a rather fast learner. things don't have to be explained over a million times before she finally gets it. once or twice usually does the trick. 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 — she's not very good at taking criticism. she takes most things personal and thinks people are trying to be mean to her when usually, they're just giving feedback. while she's physically strong, combat is not something she ever learned. sure she would be able to defend herself at some level, a good punch to the jaw maybe, but nothing special. there's a lot to learn. 𝗵𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 — alyssa is a true child of the sea. she did not grow up with it at all at first, but her adoptive brother is a sailor and learned loads from him. she loves to spend time on the water and would absolutely be doing just that if she hadn't been picked for the selection. she also loves to sink away in a good book, especially fiction novels. 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 — the one thing she trully fears is ending up like her parents. no money, no future, or dead even. she wants to be successful, take care of herself, have a good and stable life, that's all. also, not a great fan of spiders. ꧁𝓶𝓲𝓼𝓬꧂ 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 — lyssa is mostly indifferent about them. she's only been in this kingdom for about four years but has always heard very different stories. her mother used to speak horribly of them, while her adoptive mother doesn't hate them, but doesn't love them. so truthfully, she's trying to keep an open mind. maybe they'll suprise her, maybe they'll be exactly the way she was told 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — pretty much the same as her thoughts on the royals, indifferent. when the news was announced, it seemed like a great opportunity. even if she got nothing out of it, she would be wiser nonetheless. it's a once in a lifetime thing after all right? 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 — alyssa is originally from elos. she was born and raised there for the first fifteen years of her life, though she does not hold any loyalty to the place anymore. she's still debating whether she is going to be keeping this a secret, since the kingdoms don't exactly see eye to eye, or make it known and maybe try to connect the two kingdoms if she gets the chance. though she's more leaning towards keeping it a secret for now. — her mothers name is lydia, her fathers name was barry and her sisters name is myra. her adoptive mothers name is laura and her adoptive brothers name is hayden
