I tucked Noa into my bed and covered her up. It was adorable a tiny kitten in a king sized bed, propped against the pillow and covered by the blankets. She stretched out and even started purring. Relaxing into a deep sleep, her tiny body trembled as she changed into her human form. She had pale peach skin, platinum blonde hair with grey streaks and like her kitten form she was tiny. After this discovery and that note I was curious, I wanted to see exactly how honest my new friends were.

I sent a group text to the three main people who were spoiling me, the three that is that I felt closest to. I asked them to come by right away, there was a issue I wanted to talk to them about Yes there was others but these three I seemed to get along with best, we really seem to connect. With them I can talk about anything, ask anything and know I will get an honest answer.

First to respond was Hadley Ellette Jadra, she's a businesswoman, highly successful... but I'm not sure what her business does she was always blunt but tonight she seemed to be hiding her feelings behind tamed down concern as she responded separately, not in the group text. "Surprised to get your text, are you okay?"

I wasn't exactly sure how to respond "Maybe, maybe not... I have a few questions but I don't want to ask over text."

"I'm on my way." She is loyal and fast, when she say she'll be there in ten minutes she means five. Her long platinum blonde hair has a loose curl that frames her face. Her blue eyes see straight to your soul and the things you hide. She is petite in height but clearly hits the gym often.

Richmond text me next "just heard from Hadley, she text Kent and I. We are on our way." Richmond Fenris Everett has skin of midnight eyes as green as the grass on a rainy summer day and muscles with the endurance to back them that could outlast even the strongest army. He owns a farm just outside the city that sells to all the top restaurants. His fruits and vegetables are fought over citywide.

Kent's full name is Quintrell Theadore Abbott. He is from old money, he is wise beyond his years with a lean muscular form and a quiet fun voice that clashes with his wild shoulder length brown hair, dark eyes and pale skin.

The style of the three couldn't be any different. Hadley has a modern Victorian style and of the two men, Kent wears more clothes, he always looks like he came right out of a romance novel while Richmond is usually in jeans and a t-shirt.

No surprise Hadley arrived first "hey, come in." I opened the door noting that she immediately sniffed the air and looked around. "If you're looking for the kitten she is in my bed sleeping."

"Kitten, how young?"

"She looks like she's weened but she's tiny, if you ignore how small she is I'd say she's about four maybe five months." I was holding off on admitting she was human.

"And the momma cat?" Hadley was nervous

"There is no momma cat, it's just her." I now wanted to test her by seeing her reaction to me casually stating the facts. "She's a werecat, so being visually only four to five months that would make her how many years old?"

She looked at me concerned "about four or five years. For werecats it's a one on one ratio. Can I ask who told you?"

There was a knock, "hang on, that would be Richmond and Kent." I opened the door and gestured for them to come in "they should be involved in this conversation, I guess we need to catch them up..."

"I have excellent hearing, no need." Kent gave me a worried but aggressive glance. "Who is the new addition Beau."

"I gave her the name Chenoa Jade O'reilly."
