Chapter 13: April's here, so who's the fool

Al entered quietly. "Roman,"

"Huh," Beau sat up and looked at the clock 12:01 "well it's April 1st"

"Sorry sir but you're brother is here."

Beau jumped out of bed and headed out to the living room "Ra, what's wrong."

"Taya is at it again, can I stay with you for a few days?" He looked exhausted

"Sure," Beau grabbed Ra's bags "Does Mom and Dad know you're here?"

"Mom suggested it, Dad dropped me off." He yawned "why is our sister a bitch?"

"The crazy ones are more fun in bed sir," Al smiled as Beau and Ra looked at him in disgust. "I've made up a room for you sir, if there's nothing else?"

"No, we're good..." Beau was now concerned "you can go back to bed." He looked at Ra who was falling asleep standing up come on, let's get you to bed before you pass out. He tucked Ra in, checked on the girls and headed to bed.

Several hours later

"Good Morning Sir," Al smiled "the older girls are off to school and little Von is at daycare with your brother. He said he needed something to do, as that he is ahead on his schoolwork, might actually graduate early. Amazing boy, so bright he made the most delicious..."

"Al... focus...."

"Sorry, the girls are on an April fools day kick, started a prank war... his hair is purple, he took Von down to daycare and requested I let you sleep."

Beau stifled a laugh "Sounds good, I like the idea of having a back up for daycare...maybe I should get an assistant, and hire a bodyguard."

"Might I suggest you look for one who can do both, and not be noticed."

"Al, that's brilliant." Beau picked up his phone and dialed Alan it rang only once then picked up but no one spoke "Alan?"

"Hang on..." it got silent again then he came back on "alright lad what's attacking ya now."

Beau laughed "no, I was just wondering..." he took a breath and sat up in bed as Al brought him breakfast. "I need to hire a bodyguard and my butler Al suggested I get an assistant for the daycare that can do both."

"And ya called me?"

"The only species that should be feared is yours." Alan laughed "I'm serious... You're good, and I was hoping that you knew someone that could really use a job. It will come with an apartment here and..."

"Laddie, I know of only one that is desperate right now and is an expert on all forms of defense. A woman, by the name of Fenella Rose. She could fight the devil himself and win and she could use a place to live right now too. But I don't think she'll go for it, she's not the charity acceptin type."

"What if I call it a live in Bodyguard, who's cover is a live in nanny and assistant in the Daycare. There are two servants quarters here, Al prefers to keep his apartment outside of mine Celia is in one of them, Fenella can have the other."

"That she'd go for, I'll send her yer way."

"Thank you Alan,"

"Ya Welcome, hey the wife and kids are still on about dinner the other night. We must do that again."

     "I agree that was so much much fun. I'll plan something... how about this time we hit the pool and barbecue on the balcony..."

"That sounds incredible."
