"Scarcely had I passed them when I found him whom my soul loves. I held him, and would not let him go [...]." - Songs of Solomon 3:4

If anyone asked Eda how it felt to be in Serkan's arms, she'd respond that it felt like home. If they asked her what her relationship with him had been like up until now, she'd described it as an adventure.

Although if they'd asked her earlier in the week, she'd probably described her life as a Mexican telenovela. She giggled.

"What's so funny?" Serkan asked, ticking her side.

"I was thinking about us and how these past weeks have been like a romcom summer Dizi," Eda smiled. "All we are missing is an ex-girlfriend obsessed or.... Neyse," Eda said, Alina immediately coming to mind.

"Hey," Serkan called, and Eda looked at him. "I don't think you understand my state in Paris without you," Serkan bemoaned.

"You seemed to be having loads of fun," Eda commented with a slight pout.

"I wasn't. I was driving Efe crazy. You didn't want to talk to me and ignored my calls most of the day. When I mentioned Kaan, he asked why I was still in Paris. That's when I told him I had already booked a flight," Serkan shared with a laugh.

"Speaking about Kaan..."

Serkan stiffened, "What about Kaan?"

Eda smiled. "Why do you and Efe dislike him?" She asked, curious.

"We did our master's degree together with him. He used to steal ideas and cut corners to get what he wanted. He's grown out of that, and he's become quite successful. But he continues to be conniving and calculating. And a big player. And you're very good-hearted sometimes, Edacim," Serkan said, leaning against Eda's shoulder and resting his chin on it.

"I'd missed this," Eda told Serkan.

"What?"

"Sitting beside each other and just talking," Eda remarked.

"I missed being able to hold you like this," he responded, holding her close by wrapping his arm around her back and kissing her forehead.

"Well, I have no intentions of moving for several hours," Eda admitted, letting Serkan pull her close.

Serkan chuckled, dropping a kiss at her temple and playfully caressing her face with his fingers.

Suddenly, Eda sat up, looking straight at him. "Do you have to go back to Paris?"

"I do," Serkan stated.

Eda's expression fell.

"In a couple of weeks, probably," he clarified.

Relief washed over Eda.

"I booked an appointment with Emir for Wed," Eda shared, taking his hand in hers. "I was going to go with Ceren, but since you're here, I'd like you to go with me," Eda suggested tentatively to him.

"I'll meet our baby," Serkan said, excited.

Eda's heart flutter in her chest. "We'll meet him or her. I haven't even heard its heartbeat yet."

Serkan's face lightened. "Do you think we'll be able to know the baby's gender yet?"

"Do you want it to be a girl or a boy," Eda responded his question with a question.

"I stand by what I said when I found out we were pregnant. Either is fine as long as he or she is healthy. I never thought I'd enjoy having a little girl as much as I did when Kiraz was first born. But I love it. Kiraz loved me so much. I was the sun and the moon to her," he paused. "That, of course until you came into her life," he teased.
