The Line Between Good And Evil

:WAY OF THE NINJA PART 3:

A soft breeze floated between the tall trees, birds flew around to different branches their tweets overlapping as they sung. Small critters on the ground ran around making their own small noises, the woods where always so full of life during spring and summer, but the lovely scene soon ended as the animals scattered from sight. Loud footsteps and the sounds of wheels turning filled the air, the five ninja soon came into view pulling on a carriage holding Wu. The four boys all panted heavily while Ezra simply breathed deeply having done this before, so they were used to it.

"SiGn Me Up!!" Jay mocked Kai's statement slightly angry with him before looking at Ezra "And how are you not tired??!?" he asked between pants. Ezra glanced at him briefly "You'd be surprised at how often father likes to use this as a training exercise Sparky." They muttered starting to pant softly. Zane thought for a moment before speaking up "I sense this is some strange form of... team building." He said. Cole looked between his group and said, "Just keep pulling we've got a long way to go."  Ezra's earlier guess of Cole having worked out before was correct, Cole was defiantly the strongest one here, they wouldn't lie, immediately when the group went to leave, he was the one to get the wheels to actually rotate fully and without him they would be much further behind. They couldn't help but hope for a chance to spare with him just to see how strong he really was but that would have to wait.

Kai's voice suddenly rang out "So where did Sensei find you three?" he asked looking between the other boys he didn't bother asking Ezra seeing as they where Sensei Wu's child. Cole looked back at the three as said "Lets just say if it wasn't for Sensei Wu we wouldn't be seen together. I was testing my limits when he found me." He finished turning back to see the path as he seemed in thought.

"I was testing my invention!" Jay said before nearly falling forward he let out a small shriek before Cole dragged him forward, he laughed nervously thanking the strong boy who simply nodded. Zane smiled slightly as he remembered when he met Wu "I was testing myself." He said. Ezra huffed slightly as they pushed forward slightly trying not to fall back. Cole looked over at them "Say how old are you kid?" he asked after a minute Ezra glanced at him "How old are you??" they retorted "16." Cole replied. Immediately Jay started winning "aww man really?? How am I younger!!"

"How old are you?" Cole asked

"15..." Jay responded solemnly upset with the fact he was younger

"I'm 16 as well." Kai muttered while Zane simply nodded. They glanced at Ezra whose face was slowly going red they looked away as they muttered "13..." silence enveloped the group for a moment before Jay laughed triumphantly "I'm older!! WAIT- HOW ARE YOU SO YOUNG??!"

"I-its not my fault I was born younger then you!!!" They stuttered out embarrassed Kai snorted as Zane smiled softly. Cole chuckled "That means you're the baby of the group!" he chirped. Ezra glared at him "SHUT UP!! I COULD BEAT YOU IN ANY FIGHT!!" they shrieked their voice slowly getting higher in pitch the others simply laughed at this Ezra continued to wine as the boys teased them. Wu smiled softly at this laughing softly to himself before looking up and noticing where they were.

"SHH!! Stop!" he commanded. The others immediately did as commanded. Cole grunting as he dug his feet into the dirt to stop the cart. Jay fell over and nearly got ran over by the wheels luckily Ezra kicked him out of the way. The group panted softly catching their breath as each one felt sore in places, they didn't know was possible. They slowly stood Ezra noticing the giant hole in the ground inside where thousands of skeletons all working on chipping away at the caves.

"The caves of despair..." Wu muttered "Samukai must be close to unearthing the Scythe of quakes." He said the five slowly crawled up a rock to look down on the digging sight each making sure their masks where covering their face. "Remember!" Wu suddenly said "Do not use the weapon for its power is-" he was cut off by Jay who said "Yeah, yeah, yeah, is to much for us mortals. All right guys let's chop sucky this lemonade stand!" Ezra raised an eyebrow confused by the words "Cole you got the plan?" Jay asked turning to Cole Ezra looked over at him silently "Sure do!" Cole said, "First we lower ourselves down the ledge and then..." he trailed off as he looked around confused "Where's Kai?" he asked. The four looked around confused before Ezra pointed to a pile of rocks where the red ninja was hiding "There!" they whispered. The other three sighed before Jay said, "Let's go!" and they carefully snuck down into the mad made hole.
