:The Return:

The sun rose over the sky slowly golden and orange rays shining on the red leaved trees villagers walked through paths the previous attack long forgotten. Nya sat at the window looking sadly over the hills it had been days since her brother left for the underworld and although she tried to stay hopefully and cheery for him her spirit was draining. Glancing at the lit candle he frowned the flame danced and spun through the air the candle itself was melting down to its lest leg and she feared to extinguish it and change to a new one. Suddenly the flame flickered harshly and went out completely her eyes widened fear filling her heart as she started at the candle before suddenly and large thud could be heard, three more following soon after. Looking outside hopefully a smile broke out onto her face at the sight of her brother, running outside she ran to Kai who jumped down from the dragon and embraced her as she sobbed slightly in relief. Her brother was back. Everything would be fine. The others soon jumped from the dragons Jay helping Ezra down, their arm wrapped in bandages and in a cast, they walked towards the siblings smiling softly as Nya pulled away saying happily "I'm so glad you're back safe!!!" villagers crowded around cheering for the ninjas, Kai said "For now. But it's not over Lord Garmadon will return." The villagers gasped at the name and whispered amongst themselves in fear. Cole smirked as he said "Ans we'll be ready for him." Ezra nodded sighing softly "I was a fool to think you all would leave once this was over." they mumbled looking over the group before continuing "You're all a team now and teams need to stick together I'm sure father won't mind a few extra guests." they said. The others smiled happily as Jay laughed rubbing their head "Ah, ah, ah! YOUR part of the team to!!" he said Ezra blinked as the other three boys nodded, they held back a small smile as they nodded. "Alright then." they said, "I guess I'll join this circus team." Kai and Jay gasped offended as Nya frowned slightly "I'll stay behind to take care of the shop..." she said slowly "I could always use more responsibility." Ezra looked at her before shaking their head "No. it would be too dangerous to leave you alone." they said "Besides your Kai's sister. And we have plenty of room." Nya shook her head "Oh no I couldn't possibly do that-" she started to say but Ezra quickly cut in "I hear from Kai that you can fight? We have a training course you could use. Plus, I heard Kai boasting he could beat you. And I like proving him wrong." Kai blinked confused "I never-"

"I'm in." Nya said smiling creepily at her brother "Training sounds fun."

Authors note!: just a cute little mini chapter i thoight I'd add because I can but yeah there will be mini chapters in between others usually dedicated to bringing two or more charcter closer together whether its romantic or platonic, it will also [possible] be used to make enemys or have rifts between charcters so yeah! This one is just a cyte family moment between Kai and Nya [Ezra and her are going to have a bestie relashonship or something similar]
