Prophecy And Scrolls

The four ninja watched as their teammate and friend walked away Kai frowned under his mask and turned to the others who were looking between each other, Jay shrugged ad they decided to talk about it later with Ezra.
Walking back to their dragons after consoling the villagers that the bratty kid wouldn't be back, approaching his dragon Kai reached out and jumped up his foot using the small bag he'd attached to the harness when leaving for the village, unfortunately it seemed he hadn't properly attached said bag as when he stepped on it, it fell off the harness and onto the ground with a small thunk. Blinking in surprise he looked down at the ground noticing the bag along with a wrapped-up scroll that had fallen out of it.
In confusion he jumped down looking at it while picking it up, Zane noticed and walked over from his dragon ignoring Cole and Jay who were bickering over something. "I didn't put this in here..." Kai  muttered confused. Zane looked over the still wrapped up scroll then to the bag instantly realizing the problem "That's the bag Sensei and Ezra use when going on the journeys for artifacts remember?" he pointed out remembering how Ezra had explained to him that they had bags for different thing 'Because I can' was their words when asked why, this bag was what they used for journeys to find something specific and they explained that it had a special seal on it[a sewn in pattern on the front and inside of the bag] that created an illusion to those who did not have permission to be going through their stuff
[They refused to explain how the seal was made, but did give them permission to look through it, which  leading to Jay calling them a witch once to be teasing which they didn't take well AT ALL]
"You must've accidentally taken it in the rush." Zane reasoned as Kai nodded opening the scroll out of curiosity. Jay noticed the two talking and decided he was done bickering with his friend instead deciding to walk over to the other two to question them. "What is it?? What's going on??" He asked. Kai rolled his eyes "It's a scroll windbag. And I accidentally took one of Ezra's thousands of bags." he said. Jay laughed nervously his cheeks going pink as he defended himself saying "I know it's a scroll!!! But what does it say?? It's written in chicken scratch!" Zane shook his head as he pointed to the scroll which had delicate writing and drawings on it the black stood out on the pale dirty scroll and the other colors where faded and worn out "Not chicken scratch. The language of our ancestor's." he commented. Kai looked at him eyes wide as he asked, "Can you read it??" Zane looked away thinking for a moment before shrugging "I can try..." he mumbled. Looking over the scroll he pointed to the symbols written around the drawing in the center
"This symbol means Prophecy but can also mean sight or foretold depending on the sentence it's used in." Jay blinked confused but Zane simply continued "One ninja will rise above the others and become the green ninja. The one destined to join the counterpart in battle and defeat the dark lord." he said, Jay gasped pointing at the drawings "Oh look a picture!!!" he said excitedly.
Kai rolled his eyes slapping the back of Jay's head, who huffed then turned back to the scroll and continues "The dark lord? Hey, wait!- that must be Garmadon!" Kai blinks nodding before saying "Hey wait! Do you guys think that's us??" he asks pointing to the four figures drawn around the central two ninja's each had there one color Gi, red, white. blue., black, and green. The final one standing just to the side of the green ninja did not have a color drawn on them.
"Is there another scroll about this counterpart guy??" Jay asked confused on the little information on the unknown character, Kai walked to the bag looking through it before shaking his head "Nah... Not here... maybe Ezra has it? They are usually taking al the scrolls from the library to look over them." he said. Zane shook his head "They wouldn't like us asking. I doubt they'd want us to know about this anyway." he commented as Jay looked over the scroll one more time a small smirk forming under his mask as he says, "Imagine how good I'd look in green!" Kai frowns sharply turning to face him "Ha! Yeah right! It's obvious I'M the green ninja!!" he argued "The color suits me better!!" Jay snaps back as Cole looks over from his dragon shaking his head at his teammates bickering. "Technically I am the best." Zane interrupts the two. The three dissolve into arguing and Cole jumps down In front of them holding out his hands as he yells "Everyone STOP IT!" the other three look up in surprise "Remember why Sensei and Ezy brought us here in the first place." He says "We're a team. We weren't meant to see this and probably for good reason. Come on. Let's head back home." he finishes taking the scroll and bag and placing them next to his own bag to return to its rightful place once they arrived back to the monastery.
"We have training to catch up on." he adds. Jay nodded slowly walking back to his dragon and saying, "I could add some challenge to my training." he says. Zane and Kai nod and head to their own dragons murmuring in agreement. The three fly off as Kai looks at his hands then to the ground muttering to himself "Could I be the green ninja??"before flying off to catch up with the others.

No Kai. You will not be the green ninja. Also sorry for being gone so long hit a writers block and I guess I'm to lazy to post.
