The Line Between Good And Evil

:KING OF THE SHADOWS PART 2:

The sound of engines running, and people chatting could be heard as the three ninja hung from the tree. The ropes around them restricting any movements they tried to make. Samukai walked to his small army and raised the three weapons in his hands while yelling "To the fire temple!!" the army cheered loudly as they jumped up and down. Suddenly a shadow appeared next to Samukai and said "My brother has taken the sword of fire to the underworld! Hurry! Return home and reunite the weapons before its to late!" the shadow then disappeared. Samukai looked confused before shrugging and yelling out to his army "uh- change of plans. To the underworld!!" the army was confused but cheered again, one skeleton noticing his weapon was gone and replaced with a stick. "What happened to your weapon?" Another skeleton scolded before walking off to their vehicle. The skeleton frowned sadly and threw the stick on the ground heading to their own vehicle. The army then drove off leaving the tied-up ninja behind.

"Great! Now what??" Cole said huffing angrily as he looked around. Jay smirked and pulled out a sword made of bones, which he had stolen from the soldier "Now we get out of here!" Cole's eyes widened as he said "Jay before you do that warn us-" to late. Jay cut the rope sending them crashing to the ground and landing atop each other. Cole groaned as the three stood. Zane pulled his mask up and said, "Let's go!"

Samukai looked down at the speedometer frowning as he growled "Faster!! We need to go faster to cross over to the underworld!" The bikes started speeding up as they drove on the small path. Occasionally one would tear through seemingly thin air purple ripples appearing as they would disappear. Samukai glared slightly as he growled "Common faster!! We'll never get home at this point!!" The skeleton driving nodded and slowly applied more pressure to the gas, for a minute the speed rose before suddenly it decreased dramatically. Samukai looked confused as he said, "W-what's wrong??" he looked back towards the engine's eyes widening as he saw the ninja in black using a chain to slow the vehicle down. He growled irritated turning to do something but before he could the other two ninja appeared the one in white jumping on the end while the one in blue took out the driver with ease. Samukai's eyes widened as he glared raising his swords he rushed at the blue ninja. Said ninja quickly avoided the attack using his Spinjitsu to move out of the way towards the golden weapons which had been tied together and put in a cage a lock on the cage to keep people from opening it. The ninja looked over the lock as the white ninja keep the skeleton leader back avoiding the deadly blades he swung around carelessly. The blue ninja hummed in thought before punching the lock as hard as he could immediately groaning as he shook his hand "Okay- that's why locks are made." He groaned. The black ninja jumped up onto the vehicle helping Zane hold back the skeletons. The blue ninja hopped up opening his mouth to address Cole who was using one of the spare weapons he'd found to fend off the skeletons.

"Hey Cole!-" but before the boy in blue could fully finish his sentence Cole swung the weapon hitting him in the throat with the blunt part luckily not cutting any skin but it definitely hurt. Jay wheezed and held his throat attempting to speak but failing miserably. Cole blinked confused then turned to his friend quickly muttering "Jay! Sorry didn't see you there." He then turned to knock off a skeleton climbing towards him. Zane joined them atop the vehicle pushing a skeleton out of the way as he waved "Greetings." He said simply before suddenly Samukai appeared and shoved him off the vehicle. Zane managed to grab onto a loose chain as he fell ending up being dragged along. Jay and Cole glared at Samukai who rushed to the driver seat slamming his foot on the gas causing the other two to be thrown backwards into Zane, who in turn let go of the rope falling onto the ground the three looked up wide eyed as Samukai's vehicle disappeared into thin air. The only remnant the already fading purple mist.

Jay opened his mouth attempting to speak but all that came out was air and feeble words. Cole looked down muttering "Don't speak. I already know."
