I got to talk with Ally some more today when she showed me around town. She showed me the places the most common hang out spots, the quiet ones, and the ones you shouldn’t be seen at. We went to this little diner where she introduced me to some of her friends. The diner was restored to its former glory days back in the fifties and had a rock and roll vibe to it. We walked to a booth where three people were waiting. As I took a seat next to a gorgeous blonde Ally introduced me to everyone.
“Hey guys this is my new friend Abby she just moved in from Wisconsin. Abby this is Sophie she’s the smarty pants out of us all.” She was pointing at the blonde sitting next me. She had glasses on that looked perfect over her hazel eyes. She was wearing some shorts with a loose flowery tank top.
“Hey Abby. And just because I’m smart doesn’t mean I don’t know how to have fun.” Sophie grinned proudly.
“Good to know.” I smiled.
“Getting drunk and falling asleep on my front lawn doesn’t really give people the right impression on what you mean about have fun.” A boy with dark brown hair accused Sophie.
“That’s David he’s a jock and is known to throw most of the parties that happen throughout the school year.” Ally informed me as she saw me looking at the guy with dark brown hair, bright green eyes, tan skin tone, and toned muscles. You can tell that he spends a lot of time outside and also stays in shape.
“Hi I’m David.” He finally said turning his attention to me and giving me a sweet smile.
“Hey.” I answered back with a shy smile.
“And finally this is my boyfriend Noah he’s also a jock but he can’t keep his mouth shut. He always has to make a reference to something or say something that has us all laughing till we cry. Let’s just say he’s quite the comedian.” Ally said as she sat down and gave him a peck on the cheek. He had blonde hair with intense light brown eyes. I was having the weirdest feeling that I know him.
“Hey have we met before?” I asked and waited for his answer not knowing what to expect.
“I was just going to say the same thing. I used to live in Minnesota before I moved down here two years ago.”
“Same here I lived there two years ago then moved over to Wisconsin.”
“Weren’t you the girl in the archery club that could hold a bow?” he asked with a slight smile.
“Hey, I knew how to hold the bow it just wouldn’t shoot straight.” I answered defensively.
“That’s not what I saw when you allegedly almost shot Mrs. Green but she moved just in time but fell into a ditch. But she deserved it she was such a bitch.”
“I didn’t aim at her on purpose but I can’t say it wasn’t bound to happen at some point.” I said innocently.
After we were done with our conversation I started talking to Sophie and got to know some stuff about my classes.
“Did you pick up your schedule yet?” Sophie asked.
“Yeah I got it yesterday. Hopefully we have some classes together so I don’t feel like a complete stranger.”
“What classes do you have then?”
“I don’t remember the order off the top of my head but I took US History, Physics, English, Spanish, and Calculus.”
“Wow Calculus as a Junior I guess I’m not the only smart one here after all.”
“Why don’t you have Calculus too?”
