Avia ran into the city and through people. Some didn't notice her while some did. Some even screamed and ran away due to her scar. Avia tried to ignore it, even though it still bothered her that others were casting her out. She then turned in every intersection. What she was trying to look for was a library. Maybe it had a new book of supers and Voyd would be included due to the age and year the book came out in. Maybe if Avia could get that new book, she could prove to others, including her classmates and teacher, that Voyd was indeed real. That is, after her suspension is over. Avia didn't have a map though, which could be a problem. Without a map, she had no idea where to go or how to find the library. She then started to get tired. "I should probably find somewhere to sleep for the night." Avia suggested. "I hope nobody notices me though." And so, Avia found a nearby bush and started to sleep in it, hoping that nobody would notice her.

The next morning, the sun caught Avia's attention and woke her up. She got up and tried to continue her search for the library, but she still didn't have a map. She then started to ask nearby pets if they saw a library, but they didn't know, because they hadn't seen one and mainly because pets were not allowed inside a library. Avia was so desperate to find one though so she could find a new superhero book with Voyd in it. Suddenly, Avia's eye caught a blue jay. She then slowly made her way to the bird without trying to scare her. Avia quietly said, "Excuse me..." The blue jay turned around and leaped in fear. "Ah! Please don't eat me, cat! I'm just a young blue jay who is just trying to get used to things around here!" The blue jay shrieked. "Hey, listen. Calm down," Avia said. "I'm not gonna eat you, I just wanna ask you a question." "Oh, yeah? What's the question, kitty? How many calories am I? Am I gluten free? Am I expired? What?! Just tell me already!" The blue jay asked nervously in a panic. "No, do you know where the nearest library is?" Avia asked. "Ooh! As a matter of fact, I do! It's this way! Come on, I'll show you and take you there!" The blue jay replied as she started to fly. "My name's Kathleen by the way. What's yours?" "My name's Avia and it's such a pleasure meeting you." Avia replied as she followed Kathleen. "It's a pleasure to meet you too." Kathleen said. "Avia. What a beautiful name for a beautiful cat like you!" That's when Avia felt something grow inside her. Something she never felt before. Something unique. Something warm. Something sweet. It was respect. Nobody treated the cat like this before ever since receiving her scar. All she got was rejection and disrespect. But this was different. Someone was actually giving respect to her AND her appearance! Avia blushed and replied , "Thank you." Kathleen then saw her scar. She wanted to ask her how she got it, but she figured it was offensive, so she decided to keep it to herself. The duo continued on until Kathleen spoke up. "There it is! There's the library!" She cried out. Avia saw the building and she and Kathleen began heading towards it. "Thank you so much, Kathleen!" Avia said. "No problem, kid. Why do you want to be in the library anyway if you don't mind me asking?" Kathleen asked. "I'm trying to look for a book on superheroes. A new recent one." Avia answered. "Really?! I LOVE superheroes!" Kathleen gawked. "Me too! Who's your favorite?" Avia asked. "Screech. He's a superhero that looks and acts like a bird. He can even talk to them too! I wonder if one day he could talk to me!" Kathleen said. Avia looked impressed. "What about yours? Who's your favorite?" Kathleen asked. "Voyd. A superhero I just heard about and who can make portals." Avia replied. "Ooh! I never heard of that one before! Cool! What does he look like?" Kathleen asked. "Actually, it's a she. And I don't know." Avia replied. "Oh, well maybe if you get that book, you can show me!" Kathleen said. "And that's why I'm here. My old superhero book doesn't have her in it, so I was wondering if the new book will have her!" Avia said. "Well, why don't you find out then? Go for it!" Kathleen encouraged. "Okay!" Avia said. The cat then started to go to the entrance but stopped when she saw a sign that indicated that pets were not allowed. Kathleen notices this and says, "You know, I think there might be another way inside. Come with me!" She then took Avia to a secret area with a hidden door. "Wow! Thanks!" Avia said. Once the cat got inside the library, she started to hide in every enclosed space so no one could see her and kick her out. She kept walking in every aisle until she found the superhero aisle. Avia then saw that most of the people's eyes were focused on their books, so she decided to quietly walk into the aisle. She looked at every book on the shelf until she found one book and pulled it out of the shelf. It was a new superhero book with a specific year it came out in. Avia started to smile as her hopes rose. Kathleen slowly made her way to where Avia was. "Did you find it?" She whispered. "Yeah! It's new alright! Now let's see if this one has Voyd in it!" Avia replied while whispering. Avia opened the book to where the index was. She turned back to go to the V section. She skimmed through page to page, but none of them had Voyd in it. "She's not in this one either!" Avia whispered. She then started to get out more superhero books, but no matter which one she opened up, Voyd was nowhere to be found. Avia started to lose her patience. "It's not fair! This isn't right! She has to be real! She's the one who got me out of my misery!" She quietly yelled. "What do you mean?" Kathleen quietly asked. "You see, I got this scar from a mean calico cat and everyone picked on me because of my appearance. Some laughed at me while some were scared of me. I thought I was nothing but a misfit until my parents told me about Voyd and how my scar reminded them of her since it looked like her symbol." Avia quietly told the bird. "I then became so curious about the super that I wanted to know more about her and what she looked like, but my book didn't have her in it. Nobody even knew who I was talking about. They thought I was crazy. So that's why I'm here. To find a book with Voyd in it, but none of them seem to have her. What if she's not real?" All of a sudden, a woman slammed a broom behind Avia and Kathleen. "Out! Get! Shoo! Get!" She quietly yelled. "Run! Or fly!" Avia screamed. The duo ran away from the lady as they were banished outside. "No animals in the library!" The woman yelled. She then slammed the door. Avia and Kathleen looked at each other. "Now what are we going to do?" Kathleen asked. Avia began to think until suddenly, she had an idea. "I got it!" She said. "Since no book tells us about Voyd, let's go ask some animals! There's lots of them around and including ones that lived as long as my parents, so some have to know about Voyd! So, let's go!" The cat and blue jay went around the city to ask every animal in every corner. Avia asked a cat couple if they knew who Voyd was, but they didn't. She even asked some cat brothers. They didn't know either. Not even dogs knew the super. Avia asked and asked every single animal around the block, but no one knew Voyd.
