Inside the old woman's house, Mrs. Lunatin and her two cats along with Ms. Ginger were led by the old woman herself, who then opened a door that led to another room. "Okay," The old woman said. "He should be in here. I'll go call him out now." "Don't worry. You'll like him." Ms. Ginger said to Avia's parents. "He'll know exactly what to do and I guarantee that he'll help you find your daughter in no more than an hour." "Really? He can help us?" The mother cat asked. "Yep. And he's really nice and smart." Ms. Ginger answered. "He hangs out with cats all the time and I'm sure he'll help you guys find your daughter in no time." "Oh, I do hope so." The mother cat said. The old woman then opened another door and called out, "Oh, Squeaker. Come here, Squeaker. Come on. We got company." "Squeaker?" The mother cat asked. Then what exited out of the room was a male light-yellow with a little hint of orange cat. The mother cat was stunned. She actually expected him to be a human who could track down cats, but this WAS a cat! So, how was that going to help the parents and Ms. Lunatin find Avia? "Guys, I would like you to meet Squeaker. Squeaker, Mrs. Lunatin and her two cats." The old woman introduced. "Squeaker here will help you find your missing kitten. He's a tracking cat who has just been trained to track down lost pets. He also has great senses too. So he is going to help you guys by smelling out and using his whiskers to find your lost cat." Squeaker stared at Mrs. Lunatin and let out a quiet little meow. He then looked at the two cat parents and signaled them to follow him. The mother cat became hesitant. "It's okay," Ms. Ginger said. "He's just going to talk to you and ask you some questions." The mother cat looked at the father cat, who nodded at her, indicating to trust the teacher and Squeaker if they were going to find Avia. After the mother cat accepts the trust, the cat parents and Ms. Ginger followed Squeaker. He then took them to a room where a fireplace was. Mrs. Lunatin became concerned when her cats went with the other two cats until the old woman said, "Don't worry. He's just going to have a little chat with them. They'll be fine. I promise."
Inside the other room, the fire in the fireplace was still on, lighting up and warming up the house. The four cats then laid on a carpet. "Hey, Squeaker." Ms. Ginger said to the light yellow cat. "These are Avia's parents, Jennifer and Henry. You see, their daughter ran away from home and we were wondering if you could help us find her by using your senses." Squeaker then stared at the two cat parents and began to speak in a low voice. "Hmmm. I see." He said. "Losing a kitten is a very devastating experience. It's the same thing with humans losing their young as well. Especially when they run away from their only truly shelter that keeps them safe. I've seen this before. Some adventures end well, and some do not. It usually depends on what kind of adventure the young is doing. If it's a dangerous one, there's doubt that he or she will ever have the chance to return back to their own kind." "Well, we don't actually know what kind of 'adventure', you say, Avia is in." Jennifer explained. "She didn't even tell us what it is and what it's about. And that really worries me. And the fact that there's a huge chance that we will never see her again scares me. You see, we actually almost lost our daughter before from a horrific cat fight she had. She was bleeding uncontrollably and we had to rush her to the vet immediately. Lots and lots of blood was spilled from the left side of her face and we thought that she was going to die due to the amount of blood she was losing. When we finally got to the vet, we were told that she had to have surgery to stop the excessive bleeding and we were devastated. She eventually did survive, but now has a remaining scar through her left eye. And ever since that horrible time, we worried for Avia and her safety. But now since she has ran away and gone somewhere we don't know of, we, but mostly I, don't know what we're going to do if something bad was ever going to happen to her again!" That was when Jennifer started to cry again. "We almost lost her from that horrific attack! And now, we might lose her to this! I can't lose her again! I just can't! She's just a young cat! And she's my baby!" She cried. Henry then embraced her as the mother cat continued to sob in his shoulder. Seeing the two distressed cat parents really made both Ms. Ginger and Squeaker feel pity for them. They knew right away that they had to help her find Avia before it was too late for them since Squeaker was right. Losing a child is definitely a painful experience to witness. "May I ask when was the last time you saw her?" Squeaker asked the cat parents. "Well," Jennifer began. "We took her to Ms. Ginger's cat school, however, lots of cats there mocked her. Some were even afraid of her. And it was all because of her scar. And so, one day, she got suspended from attacking another cat that bullied her. So, we had to ground her and send her to her room. And that was when we noticed something strange and off. Ever since her grounding, She hasn't come out of her room when we told her to, especially when we told her that she needed to get outside to get some vitamin D. She didn't even grab her leftover dinner that was outside her room. We began to worry about her thinking that maybe something was wrong with her. And so when we opened her door, we saw that she was gone. There was nothing but a doll of a cat that was made to look like her. So, we began searching around the house and began putting up lost cat pictures around town, but there was no luck in finding her. Not even people or other animals seen her. Now, we don't actually know what happened to her. She could be out there, sad, scared, or hurt....possibly....dead...." Saying the word "dead" then caused Jennifer to sob harder in Henry's grip. "Mmmmm. Well, can you at least tell me what Avia looks like so I might know?" Squeaker asked again. "Well, she looks like us, but a little bit shorter than us." Jennifer explained. "And she has a pink 'V' shaped scar through her left eye. She also happens to be a huge fan of superheroes." "Okay. Well, excuse us for a moment." Squeaker said. He then gestured Ms. Ginger to come closer to him. They then huddled together while whispering to each other. Jennifer and Henry tried to listen to what they were saying, but it was too quiet for them. After the private discussion was over, Squeaker and Ms. Ginger turned around to look at the two cats. "Alright. It's been decided." Squeaker said. "We will help you guys find your daughter first thing in the morning. Tomorrow, we will come to your house while you get a specific item that your kid values the most. Once you find one, you are going to bring it to me so I can smell her senses with my whiskers. And then, I'll use them to start sensing where your daughter went. And I'm pretty sure we'll find her just in time before the worst part of her adventure happens." Jennifer then smiled as tears continued streaming down her face. "Oh, thank you! Thank you so much!" She cried in relief and joy. "Anything for those who are in need of finding someone important." Squeaker said. "Now I'm going to tell our owner about our plan since she has the ability to understand us. So in the meantime, just go home and tomorrow morning, we'll be sure to come over and help you guys find your daughter." "Okay. Once again, thank you, Squeaker. You too, Ms. Ginger." Henry said to the two cats. "No problem. Anything for you guys." Ms. Ginger replied to the parents. After their conversation was over, Squeaker went to his and Ms. Ginger's owner's room. He then meows to her about the plan and the old lady accepts it. After also agreeing with the plan, Mrs. Lunatin gave her address to the old woman and called for Jennifer and Henry. The owner and the two cats say their farewells to the old woman and her cats and leave back home for the night to prepare for tomorrow morning. They finally now had someone who could help them search for their missing cat. This made Jennifer feel a little bit relieved, but it didn't make her feel less worried for her daughter since she, Henry, and Mrs. Lunatin didn't actually know where Avia is and what she's doing now.
The next morning far away from Sticksville, Avia was still peacefully sleeping with a warm smile on her face. It was possible that she was still thinking about Voyd ever since last night when she drew the super from inside her head since nobody, no book, and no internet could show her what the super truly looked like. The cat continued to sleep on the ground peacefully until Kathleen came up to her and screeched out, "Avia! Avia! Avia! Wake up! Come on! We need to get moving if we're going to continue doing this! Come on! Let's go! Let's go! Up! Up! Up! Quick!" Avia gasped awake from Kathleen's yelling and groaned. "Kathleen, you didn't have to shout..." the cat said groggily. "You could've just lightly tapped me on my leg or something..." "Well, I wanted to help you prepare yourself for our walk so you wouldn't end up sleeping through it!" Kathleen said. "Now come on!" Avia then got up and stretched after yawning. "Kathleen, there's no way I can sleep through it." Avia said. "My body can alert me when it's ready. So, you didn't actually have to scream in my face to get it going right away." "Well, I can't help it! I'm a blue jay!" Kathleen said. "I'm like the loudest bird out there to wake someone from their peaceful beauty sleep!" "Oh, yeah? Louder than a rooster, or a parrot, or a cockatoo?" Avia asked. "Yeah! Even those too!" Kathleen said. "Alright, you two. Enough fooling around." Donatello then said. "Now while you all were still asleep, I went to a nearby trash can and picked up some grub. Now eat up." He then handed Avia and Kathleen the leftover food. The two animals started eating it. After they were done, Donatello said, "Alright, now you got your energy filled up. Now let's go if we're going to do this." "On it!" Avia said, prepared. "Alright! Let's do this! Let's go!" Kathleen said, also prepared. "But wait. Which way are we supposed to go since we slept here?" Avia asked. Donatello began sniffing out in the air until he stopped and smelled the scent of Municiberg straight down in the middle of a path. "This way!" He pointed out. "Now, let's move out!" The three animals then walked towards the direction where Municiberg was located at. They continued walking for miles and miles to where they were going. They even took took some short stops along the way to regain their energy, but most of it was walking. Like always, Kathleen was on Avia's back while the cat and Donatello did the walking. The trio continued moving on with their journey to get to Lucille and find Voyd.
Back in Avia's hometown, The old woman and her two cats arrived at Mrs. Lunatin's house. The old lady then knocked on the door. Mrs. Lunatin opened it and the old woman asked, "Alright. You ready?" "Yes. Just give me one moment please." Mrs. Lunatin replied. "Jennifer! Henry! Let's go!" Avia's parents then tried to find something that could help them track down Avia but couldn't seem to find a particular one. "Oh, honey," Jennifer said to Henry worriedly. "What should we use?! They're already here and I can't seem to find anything related to Avia!" "We just need to find something that Avia loves to hold onto. That's how she leaves her scent." Henry assured his mate. "And once we do, we'll give it to Squeaker so he can track our daughter down." "But how?" Jennifer asked. "Where are we going to find a very special item that Avia loves to cling onto? And what could it possibly be?" Henry suddenly then stopped searching as something came into his head. It looked like that he may have remembered something that Avia loved carrying around. He then turned to face his mate and said, "I think I might know."
Jennifer and Henry immediately went into Avia's room and grabbed her favorite superhero book. Of course it had to have Avia's scent on it since she carried and looked in it almost all of the time, so this had to help them find their daughter. It just had to. The cat parents then went to the door where Mrs. Lunatin, the old woman, Ms. Ginger, and Squeaker were. The cat parents went up to the other two cats. "We're ready." Squeaker said. "Now let's see what you got." Jennifer then handed Squeaker Avia's superhero book and said, "Here. Since Avia loves superheroes, she enjoys looking into this. So, it should have her scent." Squeaker then sniffed and used his whiskers on the book. After he was done, he began using his whiskers and sniffing around to pick up Avia's scent. After a few seconds, he finally picks it up at a certain direction. "It seems like she went this way." Squeaker said while pointing at the direction. "Let's go!" The two cat parents and Ms. Ginger began following Squeaker. The old woman and Mrs. Lunatin then noticed this. "It looks like Squeaker may have picked up your lost cat's scent." The old lady said. "So, let's get this show on the road!" The owners and cats then headed out and began their quest to find Avia. It was going to be a long one, but it was definitely going to be worth it. They didn't even need a car. Squeaker did all of the directions for them. He continued picking up Avia's senses no matter where he went or ran into. And whenever he began losing the scent, Jennifer and Henry would hand him Avia's superhero book to sniff on and regain the senses to continue. No matter what happened or what was coming next, nothing was going to stop them from finding Avia. Two journeys were now on the move. One to find a superhero and one to find a cat. Can the two groups succeed in finding them in time? The answer lies ahead.
