.Sora grinned. He threw the back of his green striped shirt in the air to add more drama as he spoke: "No yokai can scare me. So watch in awe, Hatsuko-chan, as I proof to you that there's no girl with the slit throat in this bathroom stall."
"Please be careful, nii-chan..."
Sora lowered his sunglasses as he looked over his shoulder. "Just point the camera at me and make sure to tape everything."
He straightened his back and grinned at the red dot. "Are you ready? Here... we.... go!"
Sora kicked in the door of the bathroom stall.
His sunglasses fell to the floor. His grin turned into an expression of sheer horror and sweat crawled over his spine as he pointed at what was inside the bathroom stall.
Hatsuko slowly zoomed in as she turned the camera towards the stall, her eyes locked on the screen hoping it would be less of a shock if she didn't see it directly.
Time slowed down. Hatsuko's breath turned white.
The camera captured an empty stall... So what was Sora afraid of?
Hatsuko looked up from the screen.
Her eyes widened. The camera fell on the floor and the room swayed under her feet.
Sora grabbed his sister, threw her over his shoulder, dashed out of the bathroom and ran for his life.

Two window cleaners watched Sora run off with Hatsuko over his shoulder.
The junior one pointed at the scene. "Isn't that considered kidnapping? Shouldn't we call the cops or something?"
His senior smiled. "Don't worry, Kenji-kun. That are the Mitsui siblings. They always poke their nose in other people's business." The old man laughed. "But it looks like they learned their lesson today. I wonder if the yokai finally got them."
"Yokai, Yoshito-sama?"
"Aie, it's said that this building is haunted by an evil spirit, so watch out that you don't get cursed."
"Cursed?!" Every hair on Kenji's body stood up.

.Ruri poked her head through the bathroom stall. "That was mean, Chiyoko-chan, and you know it."
Ruri's space buns jumped up as she put her foot fiercely down.
A puff of smoke surrounded Chiyoko as her school outfit made place for a white to purple fading kimono.
She loosened the ponytail and organized her long ebony hair as the last drops of blood on her neck evaporated."Don't sweat it, Ru-chan. They deserved it and you know it."
"He deserved it, but not she. It's not fair you dragged her into it. She's innocent."
"Innocent, sminnocent. If you search long enough, nobody is as innocent as you think."
"Even rabbits?"
Chiyoko's face turned stone cold. "Especially rabbits."
Ruri held her hand in front of her mouth. She clawed into her white to sakura fading kimono with rabbit print as tears brimmed her eyes.
Yusei entered the bathroom and noticed Ruri on the verge of crying. He leaned against the door as his eyes shot daggers at Chiyoko. "What's going on here?"
"She said rabbits aren't innocent," Ruri sniffed.
Yusei glared at Chiyoko. "I think what she meant is that rabbits shouldn't be underestimated, right?
They're all cute and fluffy, but when provoked, they won't hesitate to protect their beloved ones. But fighting to protect doesn't make one inherently good or bad."
His voice softened as he turned to Ruri. "Let's dry your tears and ignore the ignorants."
Ruri wrapped her arms around Yusei as she dried her tears. She smiled as she looked up. "Thank you, Yusei-kun, you always know how to cheer me up."
Yusei blushed. No matter how many times Ruri would hug him, he just couldn't get used to signs of affection, especially not from her.
Chiyoko watched the scene like a hawk. "What are you doing here, Yusei-kun?"
Yusei's eyes were colder than Chiyoko's expression. "It's -sama for you," he said as he straightened his white to blue fading kimono. "The Elders want to speak to you.
It seemed that they weren't happy with your latest mischief."
