A soft chiming caught a 5 year old Chiyoko's attention. She was clad in a too big white and purple cassock and surplice.
Something purple glistened in her mother's bag on the oak desk.
Chiyoko smiled. "Hi, King of the Yokai. Don't worry: I'll get you out of there and back to Ru-chan. She's been missing you a lot."
She stood on her toes as she reached for pen and paper, this time carefully avoiding the bag.
She drew a sigil and wrote a spell on the paper along with all the ingredients needed and instructions on how to perform it.
"When mom finds it, she'll know what to do." She smiled at her crafty work. All those years of education finally paid off.
Sakura's voice called out to Chiyoko from the hallway: "The new family just moved in, Chiyoko. It looks like they have a boy about your age."
Sakura appeared in the study. She was clad in a simple white dress and leaned against the door frame. "What do you say? Shall we go greet them?"
Chiyoko climbed down the chair and ran to her mother. She hugged her tightly as she whispered:"I missed you, mommy."
Chiyoko took Sakura's hand. "Let's go make some friends!"

Yusei noticed Ruri's tears. He rushed to Reina. "What have you done to her?"
"I have done nothing to her. She did it all to herself and now she's setting things right... or at least that's what she should be doing right now. We'll know for sure if the King appears."
Ruri clung onto Yusei as she hid her face in his chest. "I want Chiyoko-chan back."
Yusei instinctively wrapped one arm around Ruri as he glared at Reina. Elder or not, he couldn't care less because she made his Ruri cry.
He clenched his jaw and spoke through his teeth. "Where is Kizuna Chiyoko?"
"Not where, honey. When. She used the Pebble of Time, after all. And as you know..." Reina made circular motions in the air.
Yusei's eyes widened. "It will take you to whenever you wish to be, keeping your knowledge of Present, Future and Past intact."
"That's correct. You always payed close attention in class, Yusei-kun. I now remember why I've always liked you so much," Reina spoke. Her voice turned harsh as she continued: "So don't you dare use that tone with me again, young man."
Reverend Sei joined the conversation. "When did she go to? Or how do you say it?"

A big moving truck blocked the view as Sakura and Chiyoko went outside to greet their new neighbours.
"Hi, there," Sakura said, "Welcome to your new home. We are your neighbours. I'm Kizuna Sakura and this is my lovely daughter Chiyoko."
A man's head poked from behind the truck doors. His hair was dark and messy and his glasses were a reflection of how the man was: casual smart and unsurprisingly square.
"Oh, hello. Nice to meet you. My name is Fuyu Akio." The man turned towards the house.
A woman stood in the doorway. She was dressed as casual as the man and wore her hair in an updo.
Akio beamed when he looked at the woman. "And that," he said, "is my beautiful wife Megumi."
Chiyoko tilted her head. The man didn't leave much of an impression, but the woman looked rather familiar...
Megumi walked towards the Kizuna family. "Nice to meet you. This town is amazing and I hope we'll get along great."
She kneeled down and addressed Chiyoko. "You're such a cutie! Yes, you are." She whispered: "If you don't watch out our little boy will crush on you big time." Megumi winked.
Chiyoko rolled her eyes.
Megumi got up. "He must be around here somewhere. I'll go find him."
