Gosh, I haven't done this since middle school. Anyway, it's been about nine months since I was hired in Overwatch. Crazy, right? There's so much to say. But I wanted to keep this short and sweet. Um. To start off, I really like it here. I work hard and earn nice results. Morrison and Reyes are impressed with my progress. They all are. It's all easier said than done but it's great. Well, most of the time. I've seen some horrid things out there. But I know God is on our side. Being here, I feel like I have a purpose. I do miss mom and dad though. I video call them once a week, so it's not like I've completely lost them. But still. (S/N) keeps bugging me if I've met any cute guys. There's one who dresses up like a cowboy. He's very attractive and is a pro at smooth talk but eh, he thinks too highly of himself. I'd rather just stay as friends. Come to think of it, there's lots of cute guys around here. And then there's, well... I know no one's gonna read this but damn, it feels so bizarre writing it down. How the hell do I put this without sounding like a complete lunatic? First of all, there's men and women from all over the world. So many different ages and ethnic backgrounds. There's omnics as well! And then... there's a talking gorilla. From outer space. I'm not joking. He's practically a genius! And his name is WINSTON! I swear I tried not to laugh when we first met. I still don't believe it. And I'm literally in his lab right now. He's working on his jetpack thingy. Imagine if he found out I was writing about him, lol! He wears these goofy glasses. He's really friendly and soft-spoken. His jokes are freaking corny too. But still funny. He's a real gentleman. Or should I say gentleape? Haha! But really, he's too kind of a soul to be in a place like this. This might sound ridiculous but he's... cute. The cutest one. I can't help it, I've really grown to like him. Last guy who made me feel all fuzzy inside was Tommy in junior year. And he turned out to be an asshole. Winston is unique. Besides the whole gorilla thing. He's shown to be more human than some others around here. My stupid crush on him has me distracted a lot. I feel like a hopeless teenager all over again, trying to figure out if he likes me back. There's so much signs but again, he has a pure heart. I don't want to mistake his manners as false signals. Plus, I don't know if he'd have a relationship with a human. And let's say we did become a thing. What would mom and dad think? Ugh, my head hurts just by thinking about it. This wasn't short at all. Oops. Whatever. He keeps glancing over at me like he wants to say something. Soooo I guess I'll stop here. Wish me luck, dumb journal.
