I should've picked a hospital room picture before describing it in the story. Oh well, the image I used is fair enough. Just picture a more giant ass bed. There's large windows and monitors to the left of the bed, the bathroom and TV are in the front of it, leaving the guest chair, a small table, and the door to its right.

Two Days Later
Golden eyes opened weakly to a ray of sunshine stringing from large, rectangular windows; their curtains tucked to the sides to allow such a sight. Although muffled, the chirping of birds could be heard from outside. Those same eyes looked around to view the rest of the room. There wasn't much decoration, but it was clear where this was: Gibraltar's hospital center. Only thing that garnered any interest was a flat screen TV attached to the wall, featuring a rerun episode of the Overwatch cartoon in low volume.
Constant beeping was heard towards the left of the bed, revealing themselves to come from a heart monitor. Connected to it was a thin tube filled with a clear fluid making its way to a furry arm. The golden eyes searched downward to the hospital gown he wore, then onto the blanket that covered his stomach and legs. It was here where he spotted a novel titled Journey to the West, a certain ape's favorite childhood story. There was a (F/C) bookmark between the bulk of pages.
To the right, there was a soft armchair with a pillow and blanket messily spread over it. There were other things around this area such as clothes, snacks, and plushies. It took little examination to realize that this were (Y/N)'s belongings.
A husky chuckle glittered around the room, only to be replaced by a wince. The patient touched near his heart, slightly massaging around his bandaged wound.
"Welcome back, friend," an AI voice said gleefully. "There is water and your additives on the table to your right."
The primate sat up and leaned over to grab the items mentioned and consumed them. "... Thank you, Athena. H-How is (Y/N)? I see her things here. Where is she?"
"Slow down there. You're the one in bed, not (Y/N)," the feminine voice said, gaining a scoff from the scientist. "She is fine, Winston. She's actually closer than you think."
Someone had been brushing their teeth behind the restroom's closed door, but it hadn't really dawned on him until he heard gargling. Sounded like they were finishing up. He looked up to the television, waiting for them to walk out.
The bathroom door creaked open, revealing a gloomy (Y/N). She hasn't had much rest since her crush, well, more than a crush now, was admitted to the hospital. And even though it was definite that he was going to be okay, she still wanted to be there for him. Plus, the uncomfortable armchair she's been using didn't really help. Her vision laid low as she made her way to her bed, completely oblivious to golden eyes on her. Winston wanted to say something but quietly examined her instead.
'She looks so tired,' he sadly thought.
There was a lot going through her mind. An hour after the gorilla was assigned to this room, she finally gave that call to (S/N). Hearing from her little sister calmed her down a bit, even if the conversation surrounded itself only about (Y/N) worrying about Winston.
With a yawn, the young soldier asked, "Athena, what's the weather like today?"
"It is currently 72° (22°C) and sunny. There is a 14% chance of precipitation later in the afternoon."
