Lexie smiled as she joined Arizona in the living room. "So, are you going to tell me about the date you had with Nyssa?"
"You really want me to? Are you sure you won't get jealous?" Arizona teased.
"Jealous! Me! Never!" Lexie said.
Laughing softly, Arizona shifted beside her. "I'll tell you if you really want me to."
Lexie nodded, smiling.
~Flashback~
Arizona was nervous, not because she had feelings for Nyssa, but because she didn't want Callie to find out. They were still married, even if things weren't great between them. She had agreed to meet with Nyssa at a local coffee shop and they would head to the movie from there.
"Wow, you look stunning." Nyssa says as she walks up to Arizona.
Arizona blushed. "Well, considering you've only ever seen me in scrubs, of course I look good." She said coolly.
Smirking slightly, Nyssa stepped closer. "Hmm, well this is definitely a good look." She responded, waving her hand in front of Arizona's outfit.
Arizona looked down at her clothes. "Thanks." She looked up. "And you look amazing too."
"Thank you." Nyssa responded, smiling at her. "Do you want dinner before our movie?"
"I already ate." Arizona said.
Nodding her head, Nyssa smiled softly and led her toward her car.
"Can't we walk, the movie theatre is only four blocks away." Arizona said.
Frowning, Nyssa tilted her head to the side. "I thought you would prefer the drive."
"It's only a short walk." Arizona shrugged.
"Okay." Nyssa moved over to her and began walking. "You're trying to end this date early."
"What?" Arizona said. "No I'm not and it's not a date."
Nyssa narrowed her eyes. "You agreed to a date."
Arizona rolled her eyes.
The brunette shook her head and began walking toward the movie theater.
Arizona followed her.
"I figured we could watch that new romantic comedy. Or whatever you want to watch." Nyssa said as they walked.
"I'm not really into romantic comedies." Arizona said.
Nyssa grinned. "Me neither, I find them too unrealistic." She said, reaching out and linking hands with Arizona. "We can decide when we get there then. So, what made you become a doctor?"
"I wanted to prove that I wasn't just a dumb blonde." Arizona shrugged.
Nodding her head, Nyssa took the next step and intertwined their fingers. "So, you're a pediatric surgeon? That takes a lot of strength from what I hear."
"You have to be a badass to be a pediatric surgeon." Arizona nodded.
"Hmm, and from what I've seen. You are pretty badass." Nyssa responded, squeezing her hand.
"Peds is hard core." Arizona said.
Nyssa smiled warmly and glanced over at her. "Tell me about it."
"It's kids. No one likes to see kids get sick." Arizona said, shrugging.
"No they don't, but it's always good to have a doctor who specializes in child care." The brunette responded as they kept moving.
