Oliver sighs as he drops his head into his hands. He had made his way into Nyssa's room later that night. Nothing had been moved since her death, except for when they cleaned the room to keep the dust away. "We need you Nyssa, I need you." he whispers.
Oliver didn't hear Felicity stop in the doorway to watch him, a soft frown on her face.
"You should've fought, why did you give up." Oliver breathes out, his head still in his hands.
Felicity leaned against the doorframe, watching Oliver silently. She hated seeing him so broken.
"Why didn't you fight for us, for me?" Oliver couldn't fight the tears building up.
Felicity moved into the room, she sat down on the bed beside him and wrapped his arms gently around her.
Lifting his head, Oliver frowns slightly. "Felicity?"
"Cry." Felicity said, leaning in and kissing his cheek. "Please, you need to."
Clearing his throat, Oliver shakes his head. "I've done enough of that."
"Just cry." Felicity said.
"I'm fine." Oliver responds, tensing slightly.
"No you're not." Felicity said.
Pulling away from her, Oliver stands up. "I said I'm fine." he snaps out.
Felicity stared at him, her hands falling into her lap.
Storming out of the room, Oliver heads to his room to grab his shoes.
Felicity followed him. "Where are you going?" She asked.
"Out." Oliver responds, pulling on his shoes.
"Where?" Felicity asked.
Ignoring her, Oliver grabs his wallet and keys before walking out.
"Oliver." Felicity called after him.
Oliver continues to ignore Felicity, making his way to the car.
Felicity followed him as he pulled the car door open, she closed it again. "Oli, look at me, talk to me, please." She begged.
"Just stop, I need time." Oliver responds, opening the door again.
Felicity closed the door again. She stared at him.
"Dammit Felicity, stop hovering!" Oliver snaps out.
"That's it, let it out." Felicity said.
Slamming his hand against the side of the car, Oliver turns to look at her. "Stop it! Why can't you understand that I don't want to talk about it!" he growls out angrily.
"I know you, Oliver. You need to talk about it or you'll go crazy. You can't bottle it up." Felicity said.
"Just stop!" Oliver snaps out angrily.
"No." Felicity said stubbornly.
Closing his eyes, Oliver takes a deep breath. "Stop hovering over me, I need space."
Felicity sighed and looked away. "Fine." She muttered. She turned and went back into the house, closing the door behind her without casting a glance back at him.
Shaking his head, Oliver gets into his car and drives off. He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed deeply. Why couldn't Felicity understand when he needed space? He knew she was only trying to help, but he just wanted space. He stopped the car at a red light.
~Flashback~
Oliver takes a deep breath as he joins Felicity in the kitchen. William was at Thea and Roy's for the night. "Nyssa's pregnant." He suddenly blurts out.
