One month later
Everyone was gathered at Oliver, Sara, and Felicity's for their usual Barbecue. Sara and Felicity cooing over baby Peyton.
Oliver was cooking the food and William was helping him.
"Daddy." Alice mumbles softly, wrapping her arms around his leg.
Oliver looked down. "Hi Alice." He said.
Looking up at him, Alice smiles tiredly. She had recently stopped taking naps, but still got tired during the afternoon.
Oliver ruffled her hair.
"Daddy, can I have a baby brother or sister?" Alice asks randomly.
"What?" Oliver stared at Alice.
The little girl repeats herself, looking up at him hopefully. "Aunt Lexie had a baby." she ends with.
"Yes. She did." Oliver said.
"So, can I have a baby brother or sister?" Alice asks for a third time.
"Alice, babies aren't something you can pick up at the store." Oliver said softly.
Felicity came up behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist.
Alice looks up at Felicity with a pout, holding her arms up.
Felicity let go of Oliver and lifted Alice up. "What's going on?" She asked.
"I want a baby brother or sister." Alice says, laying her head on Felicity's shoulder.
Felicity looked from Alice to Oliver. She wouldn't admit it to him but she wished she could have had another baby but they had agreed that they would have no more children.
The little girl was pouting, looking up at Oliver.
"Alice. Why don't we go get some cake." William said, sensing his parents needed to talk.
Perking up, Alice reaches for William. "Cake!" she says excitedly.
Felicity put Alice down and William took her hand, leading her away from Felicity and Oliver.
Oliver sighs and closes the grill, turning to fully look at Felicity.
"She wants a baby brother or sister?" Felicity asked.
Nodding his head, Oliver runs a hand through his hair. "She does, but she has one. Jonah."
"She does." Felicity nodded.
Oliver turns back toward the grill, opening the lid to flip the steaks and chicken.
"What do we tell her? Or do we wait for her to forget about the idea?" Felicity asked.
"I don't know." Oliver responds with a shrug.
Felicity sighed softly.
Oliver turns to look at her. "What?" he asks, having heard her sigh.
"Nothing." Felicity said. "Just unsure how to approach the situation with Alice."
Nodding his head, Oliver turns his attention back to the grill.
Felicity stayed by the grill but looked over to where Sara was holding Lexie and Arizona's child.
Jonah was in Arizona's arms, pouting slightly.
Felicity watched him stare at the tiny baby in Sara's arms. He didn't seem happy at all.
After a few moments, Jonah's bottom lip pouts out more before he begins crying and reaching for Sara.
