Chapter Nine

Pete woke up and he find himself inside a room. He can hear familiar voices talking about something. He tried to get up but he is still tired from anything.

He remember he was rushed to the hospital after pain he experienced earlier. He holds his belly and he can feel his baby bump. It was a relieved and deeply breath. He thought he will be losing this one precious thing inside of him. He will never forgive himself if that will happen.

" You are awake." Vegas appeared in his side.sitting on his bed He looked like he just cried. There was a pain in his smile as he looked at him.

"What happened?"

" Severe Round ligament pain." Vegas answered. He then holds Pete's hand and looking at him intimately. He reached for his face and kisses his forehead. "Please don't stress yourself too much. I want you and the baby to be okay until he goes out."

Pete sighed. He knows the real problem why it happened but how can he deal with it? First he is so upset with his husband being so busy and having no time for him. Second is Tankhun who won't forgive him for what he and Vegas did. " I hate you." He can't control his emotion anymore. He needs to tell to Vegas how upset and irritating he is. Of how his absence makes him feel the sadness he has inside. How he wish he can slap his husband's face and tell him how he is feeling right now.

" I am sorry. I knew I don't have that much time for you." He paused. Probably thinking of what to say next to not upset his other half. "We have a lot of work to do in the minor family. Business has been progressing and my dad needs me more. but I already asked him if I can take a break and do it part time since you are pregnant. I am waiting for his confirmation."

" Whatever." He then shed a tear. He didn't understand why he got easily carried away by his emotion. he wiped his tears. He was known to smile whenever shit happens but now that he is pregnant. His real emotions are uncontrollable.

" Pete I am sorry. How can I make up to you?"

" If you will not be here by my side. I will just go home to my grandmother and stay there until I give birth." He didn't want to be home alone again after this.He have to admit he missed Vegas whenever he is not with him. But now that he always leaves and return late from work. He wants to have some company while he is pregnant and all he can think right now is his grandmother.

Vegas suddenly holds his hand tighter. " Alright. I will give you more time... If that's what you wanted." He then caresses his husband's face. " Please forgive me. How can I make up to you?"

" I want you to spend more time for me please." He answered. " And please let us do things that I wanted together." He already think of creating to do list activities like shopping together, going on a date and having fun activities. He want to spend more quality time with Vegas while they are waiting for the baby.

" Fine. If that's what you wanted then I'll do it." Vegas said. He then gently kisses his husband. " I am sorry..I will make sure to make things right."

They stay in the hospital for tonight with Vegas taking care of him throughout their stay. He stay beside Pete and make sure that he give everything that his husband wanted. In the morning, The doctor arrived and do a general consultation and laboratory test to make sure that the baby is okay. the doctor informed them that the baby is coming well and Pete needs to rest for a few days.

They went home a day after. The first thing that Vegas did is to cooked his favourite curry meal when they got home and they have a conversation together. They talked about everything while sitting outside, in front of the pool and watching the stars glowing at night..

Pete woke up with a breakfast in bed the next day. Pete prepared bread, omelet, a glass of milk and salad. It was the first time that Vegas prepared him a meal in bed that he was stunned to speak..
