Chapter Eleven

" it's nice to meet you again Pete." Korn greeted him cheerfully. Korn is in the head of the table while the main family's children Tankhun and Kinn are on the right side. He knows the youngest of the siblings-Kim rarely attended the meeting so it's not a surprise he is not present. The last time he saw him was at their wedding. While the Gun, Vegas and Pete are sitting in the left side of the table. " How's the married life." Macau might be outside playing in the fish pond which he knew how Tankhun hated. There is a time that his koi fish died when he was playing there

" It's great Mr. Korn. It's nice to be back here." He answered back with a smile. He honestly miss this place. He had been working half of his life for the main family. He miss being a bodyguard.

" Welcome to the family Pete. I hope your husband is not giving you a hard time." Korn said and he looked at Vegas.

" I will make sure everything is taking care of uncle." Vegas assured to Korn.

He gazed at Tankhun who is not looking but them but he can see how he looked irritated when Vegas is speaking. He is nervous again.. Tankhun would like to talk to him after their meeting and he is not sure if he will be happy or what. But he is still hoping for the best.

Pete is kinda bored with the meeting. He is not sure if it's something to do with him being pregnant or he just hated the discussion. This is not his first time attending the close door meeting but it hits differently when he is finally part of the Theerepanyakul family. He is officially the wife of the eldest and successor of the minor family.

They talked about different businesses. And Pete started to become sleepy and lethargic. There are times he can't control himself and he will yawn. He wanted to stop himself but it's how he feels. He can't control it. Vegas offered him tea to help him awake since he can drink coffee unless it's decaf.  

When the meeting is done. Tankhun approached Pete on his seat.

" Can we talk in my room?" He asked. He then looked sharply at Gun and Vegas. There was silence for a few seconds. Kinn and Korn are just observing. It's the first time that Tankhun has talked to him in months.

His mood suddenly changed, he is no longer sleepy and less lethargic than before. He prepared for this. " Sure."

" Make sure you are alone. I'll be waiting for you in the next five minutes." He said and walked away from the room.

Gun and Macau left right after the meeting ends. While Vegas will need to leave too for a few hours because of some errands in the family businesses. He will pick up Pete in the afternoon. He gave Pete a goodbye kiss. They are in front of the main's family building. This is the place where he and Porsche and other body guards smoke on their break schedule. No one is actually around this time so it's a better spot for them to talk alone.

" I want some fruits when we meet later. Maybe some mango, guava and dragon fruit." Although he no longer has experience with morning sickness, it still shows he is craving for different kinds of food, especially fruit. There was a time that he requested for Vegas one midnight, looking for fried chicken and doughnuts. Vegas was tired since he just got home from work and he had no choice but to look for the nearest shop that he could find. All he wanted to do was to eat. He is scared he will need to lose a lot of weight

Vegas sighed. " Okay I will buy it in the market before I come back." He then put gentle kisses on Pete's lips. " Can we spend time together later? Only you and me." He then puts his arms in Pete's waist.

Pete smiles. " Silly." And he laughed. He then let go from his husband who is still holding him.

" Your ears are red again and I know."

He gently holds his ear and it's hot. He doesn't know what's going on these past few days but whenever he feels excited or thrilled, His ears will turn red. " Yes. You better go now babe. I will have a conversation with Tankhun."

"Bye for now. I'll meet you soon." Vegas said and he walked to their car a few steps away from them.

Pete waves his hand to say goodbye and he the entered the building. He went straight to Tankhun's room.

He knocked the door and he saw Pol opening it. He entered. Nothing has changed in Tankhun's room. It's still colorful, vibrant and stylish. His boss will always be the stylish of the family with his grand and expensive outfits that he wore everyday.

" Please sit. Mr.Tankhun is in the bathroom but he will be right back." Pol then pointed out a large basket in the coffee table nearby that contains different fruits and other stuff. " he wants to give it to you. He is actually worried when you were rushed in the hospital." He whispered.

Pete is surprised. It's a lot of stuff. Aside from fruit, he can see vitamin supplements and a can of expensive milk, chocolates and some inhaler. " Wow. This is too much." Tankhun must be sick for giving it to him.

" I bet Vegas didn't give you a lot of things you needed." Tankhun appeared. He then sits close to Pete and suddenly he embraced his bodyguard. Pol then left the room as he goes outside. " I am sorry for what I've done."

They transferred outside his room- in the balcony.  Both of them are looking at the view of Bangkok and they were drinking tea. Pete notices some plants are scattered around. Tankhun probably started doing gardening when he left. They are mostly new plants.

"Your plants are gorgeous." He was looking at those orchids that is hanging. " I never thought you will like gardening." He knew his former boss is lazy with his hobby is to watch movie or series the whole day.

"Anyone will be stressed If their best and well trained bodyguard married his crazy cousin." Tankhun said and he sips his tea.

Pete sighed. So the hobby is to cope up with stress from being involved with Vegas? There is no way he will force his former boss to like his husband. " Do you still hate me."

" No. But I still don't get why you dated, married and now carrying his child." Tankhun answered. " I hope the baby will not be like Vegas. I can't stand his face." 

" I am sorry." He means it. He knows it's his fault after all.

" You don't have to be. Just visit me here every week for the rest of your life and we will be fine." He requested to Pete.

" I am not sure about the weekly visits." He said. " But I' ll make sure to keep checking on you Mr. Tankhun especially if I have free time." He will sure be busy once his baby is out. " You will often see me since I am now the part of the minor family."

" 2 weeks." Tankhun stated. " How about we see each other every two weeks? I will take care of your kid if you want."

" You don't even know how to carry a kid properly." Pete paused and realized what he just said. " I am sorry I didn't mean to offend you." He knows his former boss didn't have an idea on taking care of a child- mostly an infant. all of the Theerepanyakul children have their own maids to take care of them 

" I can learn from you tube or watch or read something." Tankhun said. " Or if not Arm and Pol can even help or even your best friend Porsche."

" Babysitting a kid requires experiences." Pete told Tankhun. "I can still visit you here Mr Tankhun but I can't promise you about visiting you every two weeks."

" Fine. I will totally forgive you for all you've done if you will visit me every month.It's different from your monthly visit to the Family Meeting."

Pete sighed. " Okay." He actually wanted to end this topic. Maybe visiting the eldest son of the main family every month is not a bad deal. " Ok I agree."

" Great it is a deal and make sure to bring your baby every time you are here."
