Chapter Seven

Two weeks later.
A moving truck just arrived from their new home. Some men lifted the remaining things from the minor family's residence to their new apartment. Pete was just standing in a corner looking at those people moving their things from the truck to their new house.

Vegas decided to purchased for their growing family. His father didn't want them to move out from the house. Pete is alright with staying with the minor family but his husband insisted of getting a new place. He said the ambience of the minor's family residence is too dark for a growing family. And their are so many people roaming around- from bodyguards to regular workers. It seems like the place don't have any privacy except for Vegas room.

The house he purchased is actually large for a regular size family. There are master bedroom and a few more, living room, dining area, play room, a patio and garden plus a large swimming pool. Maybe Vegas is planning for a huge family with him or he just wanted a bigger space for them.

He tried to help with moving lighter things that first day they got here but Vegas stopped him. They just went to the doctor and informed them that Pete needs to take a lot of rest since his body is still adjusting to his pregnancy. He felt that his husband is overreacting to it though. At first, Vegas will not let him carry even a pillow. There are servants in their house that assisted him to do everything. It means he can't also do a simple house chores. Pete tried to understand it at first but now he is pissed off. He felt like he is useless. He is also bored with nothing to do but watched movies or series, eat, sleep or reading books from his husband's library. He can't even go to the swimming pool unless Vegas is present.

One thing that made him mad too is Vegas will be gone the whole day. After their honeymoon, he became busy with their family businesses and affairs that sometimes Pete can't no longer wait for Vegas to go home since it he will arrive late. Sometimes he will leave the house early in the morning. They never done any shopping for babies stuff like clothes, diapers and others.

After people from the moving truck leaves, He is in the living room sitting on a sofa with a remote control in his hand. He looked at the shows that is available on Netflix . He already saw most of the shows and movies in it since his former boss Tankhun has a hobby of binge watching everything on TV. He actually missew him and his other colleagues - Porsche, Arm and Pol. It's been two weeks since they last met. In their wedding day.

What he just saw from the past 2 weeks are Vegas, Macau and his father in law. As well the workers and bodyguards of the minor family. He never returned to the main family residence yet.

He actually wants to see them. But Vegas didn't want him to leave the house alone. The housemaids won't allow him to go outside as per Vegas instructions. He asked Vegas a few days ago if they can do some shopping together but he is still busy with his job in the minor family.

He stand up and think of a plan.. He have to sneak out the house and meet his friends in the main family residence. He wanted to have a chat with them in person. Although all of Tankhun's bodyguards have a group chat on Facebook since Kinn finally allowed them to have access on their phones, it's still different if they talk in person and he wants to see Tankhun as well. He missed his older boss and he wonders how is he doing this time.

He grabbed his phone and begin a conversation with his former colleagues.

Pete (09:05): Is there anyone here?

A few minutes. Someone replied.

Porsche (09:12): Hey Pete. Is there something's wrong?

Arm (09:15): Sorry, I am busy working with software updates for security purposes. You know many people are after the family.

Pol (09:17): I am with Tankhun and we are watching some series.

Pete has a plan, He and Tankhun never had any contact ever since he left the main family residence. He wished that they can have a conversation together. He missed his former boss despite of all the things that happened to them. He wanted to sneak out the house and go to the Main's family residence. Porsche made a promise that he will try to talk to Tankhun about having a conversation with him but his former boss don't want to talk to him.

Pete (09:21): I am really bored here. I wanted to go back there.

Porsche (09:22): Then go here. We haven't seen you in awhile.

Arm (09:24): You told us Vegas won't let you leave the house. Are you still going?

Pete already made his mind. He needs to talk to Tankhun.

Pete (09:26): I think I am fine. He is just overthinking. @Pol. Did Tankhun mentioned me after the wedding?

The chat room was silent for a few minutes. Someone suddenly texted.

Pol (09:30): this is Tankhun. What do you want?

Pete sighed. Tankhun probably saw Pol doing something on his phone and stole it. He knows he will be facing his former boss.

The dining room was silent.. Pete and Tankhun are looking face to face. They are sitting opposite of the table and they haven't spoken any single word yet when Pol left them.

Pete was able to leave their house when his housemaids are not looking. He run and gets a cab to get to the Main family residence. Tankhun invited him in the dining area of the main family.

" Porsche asked me a few days if I can have a conversation with you. About what Pete? Because if you still want me to accept Vegas as your husband then it's a no!" Tankhun breaks his silence looking furiously at Pete. He looks irritated.

"Is that the reason why you are not in my wedding?" Pete asked.

"Why should I be in your wedding?" Tankhun said. " Will I be okay seeing my favorite bodyguard marrying my lunatic cousin?"

"I am sorry if I didn't tell you about my relationship with my husband before." Pete apologized. " I know I am wrong but I hope you will forgive me."

" It's not that easy. I was so surprised you are dating Vegas for a year!" He said. " And you keep it a secret. If you are not pregnant with his baby, we will not find out you were dating."

Pete was just silent. He knows his former boss so well. He knows it will not be easier for him to move on. And he understands him. His frustration about not being open to him.

" I have conditions and I will forgive and forget everything." Tankhun informed him.

"What should I do?"

"First. After you give birth, you will return to me as my personal bodyguard."

Pete sighed. " I am sorry but as much as I want to go back, I can't." He already decided that once he got married to Vegas, he will be a full time parent to their future kid. It was already an agreement they made with his husband.

"Then forget what I said."

" But-"

" Leave." He pointed out the door of the room. He looks sharply at Pete.
