"Switch, Art hold your positions. I am sneaking in" I said as I climbed up a ladder at the side of the huge mansion.
Oh how I hated heights.
"Revans, we are there but-"
"But?" I pressed on my ear monitor as a static cutoff the connection abruptly.
Oh well.
I climbed in quietly and moved silently across the hallways, peeking into each room.
"Revans?" someone asked behind me and I stiffened, turning back carefully.
One quick move and I would be shot for trespassing.
"I work for him" I reply through my black mask and the man noded, lowering his gun.
Fuck, I was hoping to do a little research before meeting Cesare.
"He sent me here to meet Cesare" I said and the man nodded.
"Follow me"
We walked through a set of corridors before reaching a black metal door, resembling a safe more than a room.
"Cesare is just a kid so don't be too harsh with him" the man warned me as he punched a code and pushed open the giant door.
I entered cautiously, scanning the area for any traps when I realised the place was more like a hotel lobby than a mafia hideout.
"Welcome" a sweet voice called out behind me and I whipped back to see a girl of around twenty smiling at me.
She had flaming red hair, with the most adorable set of dimples I had ever seen.
"Hello" I said, and she gestured me to sit on a couch, taking the seat opposite to me.
"My brother is busy right now, so I am here in his place" she said, crossing her legs and I nodded.
Brother?
"I am Lila Rossi, the second in command for the family. Who are you?"
"I am..." I hesitated.
Should I reveal my identity to get information?
" I am a man who works for Revans. He sent me here" I said after a moment's delay.
