I Would've Done So Already

Angel POV:
We boarded the bus and as normal, the whispering started. It didn't bother us nearly as much as it did when we were little. We just sat in our seats at the back of the bus. Charlie didn't waste any time pulling out a clipboard that has (in my opinion) too many pages. "We have until Thursday, so three days away. We'll have to work around the clock. That means no breaks, Angel." "Eh, my mom caught me again and took my coke." Charlie brushed me off and continued talking about her plans so fast that she started mumbling. As I was about to say something, the bus slowed to another stop and a kid our age boarded. He wore a red suit, his hair resembled deer ears and held a long stick microphone. Charlie smiled wide. "That's Alastor."

Charlie POV:
I called Alastor over and he turned to us with that massive, toothy smile he always had. "Hello lovelies! The dear principal has already informed me of everything. Where do we start?" Angel seemed fine around him, but Vaggie was on the edge of her seat. I motioned for her to move a couple seats up. "Alastor, this is Angel Dust. Angel, introduce yourself," then I went up to Vaggie. "You ok? You seem really on edge," Vaggie sighed. "I don't trust him." I was confused by that. "Vaggs, you barely know him. How can you decide you don't trust someone without getting to know them?" She looked down. "It's just that huge smile. No one normal would constantly-" She was cut off from a loud laugh from Alastor. "No." Hr said. I looked back to Vaggie. "We'll talk about this later, ok?" Vaggie stood a bit "Ok" And we made our way back to our seats.

Vaggie POV:
He hasn't done anything yet, but I don't trust Alastor one bit. The thing that sets me off most is his massive smile. I kept an eye on him the whole ride to school. He and Charlie never stopped discussing her ideas and Angel popped in here and there with a couple ideas. I stayed silent, not wanting to draw attention to myself. At least the auditorium is large enough that I don't have to be close to him, but we're gonna be working together. I might as well at least try to trust him a little bit if we're going to be working together.
