Angel POV:
Beginning of December, we hoped that Charlie would snap out of this depressed daze, we almost thought she wouldn't ever come back around until Alastor pointed out a poster on the bulletin board near the office. Winter Prom! Charlie loves social gatherings like that! That has to snap her out of this. Husk took the poster down and we all went to find Charlie. We eventually found her in a corner in the library. Vaggie kneeled down in front of her, "Charlie?" She looked up at her. Vaggie looked to Husk and he pulled the poster out, showing it to her. Charlie's eyes widened once she saw the poster and we felt a sense of success. "When is it?" She asked. I took the poster and looked at it, looking through all the writing. "December 18th. The day before the break." She looked down, seemingly in thought. "Maybe." That was unexpected. Charlie loves things like this, we were sure she would agree. But maybe means yes and no, so there's still a possibility she would go. I folded the poster up and put it in my pocket, leaving the library.

Husk POV:
I noticed Angel leaving and I quickly followed him, coming up beside him. I had been debating whether or not to ask him something as well as how I would ask him. I shook my head to clear it. "You good, Husk?" Angel asked. "Uh, yeah. Yeah, I'm fine," I replied, a bit nervous. "Are you really, Husk?" I sighed. He knew I wasn't. I stopped the both of us in a separate wing. I took a deep breath. "Angel? I have something to ask you," I was surprised I wasn't stammering or anything. "Ok. What is it?" "I- I mean, would you...uh," Here comes the stammering. "Husk?" Angel asked, worriedly. "Would you go to prom with me?" I just blurted it out and tensed my shoulders, unsure of his answer. I heard him chuckle a bit and my heart dropped until I heard him speak. "Of course. I wouldn't miss it for Hell." I let out a huge breath of relief and he laughed a bit more. I even let out a chuckle or two. "You're always so tense. Its adorable. How you went from stone cold to plushie soft." I could feel myself blushing, but I was just relieved he accepted and I didn't feel so much like a fool either. He chuckled again. I looked up at him. We were both smiling softly before he leaned in and placed a kiss on my cheek and walked off, leaving me statue still, frozen and blushing like crazy. An insanely wide smile grew on my face as I walked off as well.
