Husk POV:
I was nervously pacing around my room, the suit on my bed staring back at me. I had been to one to ask Angel, and he said yes, so why was I so nervous? Was it because of what I felt towards him? I didnt want to take a bottle cause I didnt want to seem already drunk by the time I got there. Any deep breath I took was shaky. I sat down on my bed, beside my suit. I looked at it, being that mid winter's night indigo, the white bowtie standing out contrast to the dark. My mind wandered to the little glimpse of Angel's outfit he got. All I saw was the collar of it and the color, being the exact shade of a lush Christmas pine tree. I wanted to see him in it so bad. "Screw it." I said to myself and took out a shot glass from my nightstand and reached for an unopened vodka bottle and took a quick shot. I managed to actually and calmly take a deep breath and stood up, putting the suit on. I was standing in front of the mirror, trying to do up my tie when my dad came in, sober for once. He had agreed to drop me off at the center the party's being held at under the condition I get a different ride home since he has a night shift tonight. He didn't say a word to me as he took the tie in his hands, gently tugging me closer and doing it up for me. I was surprised with how gentle he was being, but I wasn't complaining. "Let's go." Is all he said when he finished, and I followed behind him to the car.

Charlie POV:
Vaggie and I went to four different stores, each one finding the 'perfect outfit', but we only bought the outfits from the first and second stores. We were in my room, and I was helping Vaggie pick which dress to wear. She kept the outfit she told me not to look at behind her. "How about this one?" I suggested the one that was a white and red fade with red pointsetas. "This one is very pretty." Vaggie responded before going into my bathroom and changing. When she stepped out, sparkly white heels matching her dress, an audible gasp in awe escaped my mouth. "Vaggie, it's beautiful," she looked stunning. Vaggie smiled and twirled a bit, the dress flowing up around her. "Thank you." I chuckled softly. "Come here. I'll style your hair." I offered. She crouched, being careful to make sure her dress didn't touch the floor as I brushed her hair out of it's usual style and started doing a pretty intricate style that made her hair look like a flower bouquet. I finished it with adding her trademark pink ribbon. "What do you think?" I took a picture of the hairstyle and showed her. "Oh, Charlie. You're so talented," I chuckled a bit. "Now," Vaggie continued, sitting beside me on my bed, taking the bag she wouldn't let me look in and putting it on her lap. "I didn't let you look at this one because this one is the one. I know we said that about all the outfits we saw, but this one. It was made for you." She handed me the bag and I opened it, my jaw dropping. It was a three piece suit, the jacket and pants being a light blue and dark blue velvet, the inside dress shirt being the exact same shade as a fireplace, the tie and belt being a coal black and shoes the color of reindeer hide. "Vaggie..." I was breathless. She was right. This suit was made for me.

Vaggie POV:
My smile only got bigger when Charlie's face lit up and she ran to her bathroom to change into it. Her parents walked in to check on us, making sure we either getting ready or were ready. "Charlie's just getting her suit on." I told them. We made small talk until Charlie stepped out of the bathroom, the discussion halting to a stop. She stood there in the doorway, hands in her pockets, hair straightened and falling all around her upper body, her curtain bangs framing her face perfectly. Charlie's mom started tearing up and her dad just had the most soft, proud smile on his face. I couldnt speak, she was so incredibly breathtaking, I almost couldnt believe this was my best friend. Her smile just pulled everything together. Her mom sniffled a little, trying to clear her throat so she could speak. "Well, lets get going then. Neither of you want to be late now, do you?" Charlie chuckled. "No, Mom." The four of us walked outside, her dad getting us to pose in the front garden for some pictures before we got in her parents limo and made our way to the party.
