Sophie's POV
The day had gone by really quick and before I knew it, it was already lunch. I got some food from the cafeteria which in my opinion didn't even look edible. I looked around the cafeteria and saw Fitz wave me over to him.
"Guys this is Sophie, Sophie this is Keefe, Tam, Linh, and my girlfriend Claire." Fitz introduced. Biana stood up and hugged to me so tightly I couldn't breath.
"I missed you too B... but I need to breath...." I say and she loosened her grip and smiled.
"I missed you too! There are so many thing I have to talk to you about!" she said squealing. Biana hadn't changed at all.
"Sure. After school." I look at the blonde guy and snap my fingers.
"Wait you were the guy who put a stink bomb in the classroom during 2nd period! How are you not in detention right now?" He smirks at me.
"I have my ways."
"Hey Sophie! Fitz has told me so many great things about you!" Claire said, extending an arm for me to shake. I did so.
"It's nice to meet you too," I hated that I was jealous of her, but I could what a cute couple she and Fitz are. She had brown hair with green eyes and she was so nice.
"Hey babe do you think you could you come to vending machine with me?" she asked. Fitz nodded wrapping an arm around her shoulders, gave a little wave and left the cafeteria.
"So do you guys like Claire?" I ask.
"She's a bitch," Linh said. I just met Linh and I'm surprised she had actually said that. She looked so nice I was surprised such foul language could leave her mouth.
"What are you talking about?" I ask looking at the rest. They all nodded their heads in agreement.
"She hates all of us, especially Linh, saying that Fitz can't have girl friends and she even wants Linh to break her friendship with Fitz," Tam explained, quietly.
"Does Fitz know?" They all shake their heads.
"Fitz has been really happy ever since he got together with Claire and we didn't want to ruin that," Dex said.
"And she might be a bitch to you too Sophie. Just look out for yourself," Biana warned. Fitz and Claire came back and sat down at the table.
"So what'd we miss?" Fitz asked.
"Nothing much," Biana said smiling.
_ Time Skip _
The day had flew by so fast that the next thing I know, I was sitting at bleachers with my friends watching Fitz's football game. I knew nothing about football, but I was just there for motivation. And Keefe had also tried several times to impress the girl he liked, Marella I think her name was and it was quite funny so see all his cheesy pickup lines. We all snickered when at his last attempt she just walked away from him and sat somewhere else.
I had no idea what was going on but the timer had just went off and on the scoreboard, Castro Valley had won.
We went down to the field and congratulated him for the win, giving him fist bumps, side hugs, or hugs. I had also gotten to see Fitz and Biana's parents, Alden and Della Vacker, who I haven't seen in a very long time. After the game, some dude was hosting a party all Juniors invited.
I didn't want to go but my parents (my mom) encouraged me to go, as well as my other friends. So I ended up going and it was not a pleasant place to be. The guys parents wasn't home so their were drinks of beer and alcohol on the ground or in peoples hands. There were teenagers making out in the hall, drunk teenagers, or teenagers getting drunk.
I whispered to Fitz who was walking beside me.
"Why am I here again?"
"To have fun," he answered "And besides your new, you'll get to meet new people."
"Do you drink?" I ask and he shakes his head violently.
"Hell nah. My parents would kill me if I did, I just like to hang out here."
"Are there any drinks that aren't beer or alcohol?" he shrugs.
"I don't know. And remember Sophie, not a single sip of beer or alcohol." I smile.
"Yes dad," I say rolling my eyes. A playful smirk grows on his lips.
"I'll catch you later," and he disappears in the crowd. Great by myself with a crows of drunk teenagers, could this night get any better?
I was so deep in my thoughts I hadn't realized that I had bumped into a boy.
"God I'm so sorry, I have no idea where I was going," I say. I look at the boy and I had to say he was pretty cute. He had blonde hair, greenish blueish eyes that were so pretty I could stare into them all day.
"It's fine. And I'm glad I found another sober person in this house. You don't look familiar, are you new?" he asks.
"Yeah. Sophie Foster," I say extending my arm.
"Matt Lewis," he said shaking it. "So what brings you here?"
"I came here with some friends."
"What kind of friends are they if they ditch you?" I shrug.
"I'm used to it."
"A girl as beautiful as you should never feel like she's alone," I feel my cheeks grow warm. I didn't know what to say after that. He just asked me to take a seat on the couch and we started talking. Although we had met each other only recently, it felt like I've known him a lifetime.
While we were talking I couldn't help but glance in Fitz's direction and saw that he was staring at me or Matt and his eyes showed jealousy. When we locked eyes, we quickly looked away.
"Sophie, I like you," Matt said. I looked away not knowing what to say. But instead I said:
"I like you too Matt," he smiles, and his eyes fell on my lips. Soon our faces were getting closer and closer, I had butterflies in my stomach. This was my first kiss! And when our faces were only centimeters apart, Fitz had decided that it was the right time to break it up.
"Sophie we have to go," he said.
"Couldn't you have waited until later to tell me that," he shook his head.
"Nope, we have to go now," he tugged on my arm, pulling me away from Matt. I quickly slapped his hand off my arm, glaring at him.
"What the hell did you do that for?" I whisper-hissed at him.
"I was saving you. First off, Matt is known around the school as a player. He sleeps with girls and then ditch them and avoid them as if he doesn't know them. Second, that was going to be your first kiss! Do you really want it to be around a bunch of drunk teenagers with beer and alcohol spilled all over the ground?!"
I cross my arms over my chest.
"How do you know it's my first kiss?" he rolls his eyes.
"I know everything about about, besides you probably blabbed it to Biana and then she would've told me."
"Whatever, I'm leaving," he protests but I leave the house and walk home.
Hey guys! I have no idea why this chapter was published even before I finished it but that was an accident. This was a pretty long chapter and I know you might hate me for the little fight but at the end it'll be worth it! I'm in school right now, so I have to finish the chapter right now but I have a question to ask you all.
I had a request, where someone wanted me to make Sophie a teen mom. If you guys want that to be in the story, comment:
Yes
No
Bye! Love y'all!
