Sophie's POV

Morning sickness sucks. I've been missing several days of school to throw up all day and night and it felt terrible. Fitz has been bringing my homework by which I enjoyed because it got me to do something in the meantime.

I wasn't even in a full month of my pregnancy and I was already finding it tiring and difficult. I can't imagine how hard it'll be later on.

I finished up my homework and I laid on my bed, hearing a gentle knock on my door.

"Come in." Edaline peeked her head through, with a smile on her face.

"Hey sweetheart." She said, coming to sit on my bed.

"Hi mom."

"How are you?" She asked.

"Okay I guess. Morning sickness sucks though. But I just finished up some homework so I won't be too behind in my studies." She smiled, looking at the pile of finished homework on my nightstand. "Will I ever go back to school?" Edaline sighed, looking down at the bed.

"It's not my decision. It really depends on you, and what you think you can handle. Because over the pregnancy, it will get quite difficult." I played with my fingers, silence filled the room shortly afterwards.

"I don't want to miss out on my studies because of the baby." Edaline nodded her head.

"I understand you, but I'm just saying that with the pregnancy, it will be difficult. Over the course of the next months, the baby will get heavier which could impact your ability to do many things. But your father and I have been talking, and we want you to finish your studies as much as you do, so we were thinking of asking the school to let you do your work from home."

"Really?" She nodded her head. "That would be great mom, thank you." She smiled, grabbing my hand and giving it a short tight squeeze.

"No problem dear, we want only the best for you. And by the way, I've already been planning your gender reveal! Oh it'll be amazing!" I laughed at my excited mom.

"Fitz and I have been thinking to keep the gender secret." Her smile quickly disappeared and her shoulders dropped.

"I think it would be helpful for you two to know what to get for the baby if you know it's a boy or girl."

"Yeah but we like a surprise."

"I can't believe you're going to make me wait for 9 months to see if I have a granddaughter or grandson." I laughed at how dissatisfied she was my answer.

"The 9 months will pass by, don't worry mom. But you can always have your predictions." She smiled, nodding her head.

"So have you been feeling any type of pregnancy cravings yet?" I shook my head.

"Not really, how severe will the cravings be?" I asked.

"Well depends on the lady. But at some point in my pregnancy, I was crying when I didn't have it." I chuckle, pulling the blanket up a bit.

"What were your cravings?"

"Potatoes. In any type of way or form, I'd always be craving for them." I laugh, hearing my phone start to ring. I found it to be Fitz.

"I'm assuming it's Fitz?" I nodded, and she smiled, starting to stand up, "I'll leave you two to talk." She headed out the room and then I answered the call.

"Hey Sophie."

"Hi Fitz, what's up?"

"Nothing much, wanted to check up on you though. How are you doing?" He asked from the other side.
