Sophie's POV

Today was the first day back to school ever since prom. And Fitz likes me. I haven't told anyone about it, not even Biana and I know she might get mad at me for not telling her but I know she'll be excited too. I went to my locker and saw Fitz at his, grabbing his books. Sure we told each other we liked each other but I have no idea what happens next. Do we start dating?

"Hey Soph."

"Hey Fitz," not going to lie but this was kind of awkward.

"So about prom night..." he started.

"We told each other we like each other and so now what? What does that make us?" I ask. He leaned on his locker.

"I don't know. What do you want to be?"

"Something more than friends?" I squeaked out. He smiled.

"Great. Sophie will you be my girlfriend?" Once again my heart started racing. I couldn't use my mouth because I couldn't trust it. Maybe I say something stupid. So instead I just nodded.

"Great." And soon the bell rang.

"See you later Soph,' he gave me a kiss on the cheek and walked to his first class. I was now officially dating Fitz Vacker.

With that in mind I started walking to first period.

Fitz's POV

I finally did it. I finally asked Sophie Foster to be my girlfriend. She's my best friend, my childhood crush, and now my girlfriend.

I quickly rushed to first period, taking a seat next to Keefe.

"Hey Fitzy. Why are you so cheerful today?" Ignoring the fact called me Fitzy, a nickname I have repeatedly not to call, I shrugged.

"I have a girlfriend," I answered, his eyebrows shot up.

"Already over Claire?" I shrugged.

"So who is she?"

"Sophie," I shook my head and he snapped.

"Darn it, I was just about to ask her on a date after school," my smile disappeared and I glared at him.

"I was joking, chill." I roll my eyes and opened my books as the teacher walked in.

Today was going to be a great day.

Sophie's POV

My day was horrible.

Only a week or so in and I already have to do quiz. Don't get me wrong I love quiz's but not something that I barely learned about.

And everyone kept on throwing scrunched up balls of paper at my head calling me a nerd. But putting that aside, I tried to keep happy thoughts as I left the school with a bunch of homework in my backpack. I heard a bunch of "Sophie!" and I looked to right to see Keefe, Dex, and the Vacker siblings. I walked over them and one step away I tripped on my own foot. I am so clumsy.

But as I braced to hit the ground, I felt two strong arms wrap around me. I looked up to Fitz, giving me his famous movie-star smile. I stood up, my face beet red.

"I forgot how clumsy you are," he stated, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"Some things never change," they all laughed at that.

"So what are you doing after school?" Biana asked. I shrugged, "Wanna come over?"

"Can't. Got a bunch of homework to do," she pouted.

"You wanna come over for a sleepover on Friday? It's going to be a bunch of fun," she smiled, wiggling her eyebrows.

"I don't knowwww, maybe? I'll have to check with my parents first," she nodded.

"Text me when you have an answer," I nod. After another five minutes or so, everyone started leaving and now it was only me, Fitz, and Biana.

"You want a ride home?" Fitz asked. I shake my head.

"Nah. It's only a five minute walk, I'll be fine."

"You sure?" I nod.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, but thanks anyways. I have to go, I'll see you guys tomorrow," Fitz gave me a kiss on the cheek, which I turned red at when Biana started squealing.

"I ship it." Fitz rolled his eyes a smirk on his face.

"I'll see you tomorrow Sophie," I smile and wave to the siblings before heading to my five minute journey home.

Maybe today wasn't so bad.
