Chapter 2

       It was a beautiful day as Y/N was shopping in the city, looking for new clothes for her wardrobe. She went from store to store finding some cute things to wear but went to her favorite store last. As she was looking around she got a notification on her phone that she didn't recognize.

       Random Number: "Hey Y/N, it's me April. I was wondering if you might want to hang out later tonight for a girl's night."

Y/N's Pov

       I smiled after reading the message and thought about what else was planned for my day. Before texting her back I checked my email to see if there were any notifications from any of the jobs I applied to. I checked with no luck, but hopefully one will answer. With nothing else going on throughout the day  I thought it would be a good idea to go out, I mean I don't know anyone else in the city.

       Y/N: "I think that sounds like a great idea April. What did you have in mind?"

       April: "Maybe go out for pizza and head to Albearto land afterwards, they have some fun rides there."

       Y/N: "Sounds fun. I'M in town shopping for new clothes then I'm gonna head home and get ready for tonight. Should be ready around five. Does that sound good to you?"

       April: "Sounds great! Can't wait for tonight, we're going to have a blast!"

       Y/N: "HECK YEA IT WILL!!!"

       April: "Ok I'll see you at five then."

       Y/N: "See ya then."

       I did a little happy dance before putting my phone in my back pocket and went back to picking out clothes in (your favorite store). After a couple of hours I had enough time to get home and get ready. The bus seemed to be a bit delayed so I decided to hoof it back to the apartments and began power walking to my  apartment complex. As I arrived it barely gave me enough time to get ready, so I ran upstairs and began getting ready. As I was putting up my clothes I found the cutest little outfit to wear that night. I put on a periwinkle colored crop top sweater with a dark pair of ripped blue jeans, with some white sneakers. I styled my hair to where it was wavy and had volume. As I was grabbing my house keys and my phone near the end of getting everything situated there was a knock at the door. I ran to the door yelling to my brother, "I'm headed out. I'll be home around nine." closing the door behind me.

       "Hey, are you excited for tonight?" April squealed excitedly. "Obviously. This is going to be the best night for the rest of history. So proclaimed me." I pointed at myself with my thumbs. We both giggled at my little remark and headed downstairs to the entrance to the taxi that April called for us. "So first we'll go to the pizza place and head to Albearto land when we're done. We'll walk since it isn't that far from the establishment of where we are eating." She explained as we sat down in the back of the vehicle. We laughed at the funny things that we were both talking about. Either things that happened to us or in our presence. Once we arrived at the restaurant the waiter got us seated and we began ordering food. As we were sitting there I couldn't help but feel that weird presence of someone staring at me. I pushed that feeling down knowing that it could be anyone that was around me.

       We sat there still chatting away, getting to know each other but that feeling still lingered so I looked around and couldn't see anyone staring at me specifically. After a few minutes April caught on and saw that I was distraught. "Is everything ok Y/N?" she asked me with a concerned look across her face. "Why do you ask?" I questioned in a curious way. "You look like you're uncomfortable. Is it something I said? If so just tell me." she said, trying to reassure me. I looked around once more, "I just feel like someone is watching me." I said, still looking worried. "Well girl, why are you looking upset about that? You're gorgeous to look at. Of course people would stare at you." she said with a motivational tone in her voice while leaning back in her seat crossing her arms. "But it's not that, I actually felt the same way..." I was cut off. "Here is your pizza and drinks ladies. Let me know if there is anything else that I can do for you two tonight." the waiter said, setting down our meals. The meal smelled divine and helped distract me from that feeling I was having. "So what were you saying?" April asked while taking a slice of pizza. "Oh it's nothing important." I shrugged it off as I began stuffing my face.
