Chapter 3

       It was silent as the six of us stood there after the whole interaction. I stood there embarrassed but a little at ease knowing that they weren't going to harm me, but I still didn't feel safe. "Ok so... Y/N this is Raph, Leo, Donnie, and Mikey." gesturing towards the four of them. "And boys this is Y/N, my neighbor." Once introductions were done we still stood there in silence as I stood there looking at my feet blushing like crazy from how I acted.

       "Aww there's no need to blush cutie. I already know I'm good looking." said the one that April said was Leo. "Really Leo, she's probably still scared or maybe even embarrassed at what happened and you're making jokes. I mean it's not everyday you see mutants for her." explained the red one. I stood there as they were all there bickering about the blue one's actions. I glanced over at April in pure confusion "This is what I was afraid of?" I asked. "Sadly yes." she said and we both began laughing. The boys stopped in the middle of their argument and looked confused and wondered why we were laughing at them. "Are you laughing at us. How rude." Leo gasped at us. we kept laughing even though we were trying to hold it in. "It's just funny how I was afraid of the four of you." I snickered

       We all sat there on the rooftop getting to know each other. "Leo you're not funny. Stop with your one-liners" Donnie said, scrolling through his phone. "Well Y/N likes it so I think I'll keep using them." he said gesturing towards me. We kept talking for who knows how long. I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was almost one in the morning. "Oh shoot, I gotta head back to my apartment and get ready for school tomorrow." I announced to everyone getting up. "Already?" Mikey asked in an upset tone. "Sadly yes, I have a chemistry test that I need to study for." I said and began heading for the stairs. "But here's my number if any of you want to hang out sometime." I suggested and they gave me their phones. I waved to them and said goodbye and headed back downstairs to my room.

       I sat down on my bed with my laptop out and started going over the study guide for about an hour until I got everything down. It was a couple of minutes after two in the morning when I put everything away and laid out my clothes for the next day. I finished up my night routine and got in bed and fell asleep almost immediately.

       I got up in a rush the next morning because I slept through my alarms and barely made it to class that morning. Every class seemed to drag on but longer than ever. But the good news was that I had aced that chemistry test and that I am now gonna ace that interview. I was heading there all nervous and I went over some questions that might be asked and thought out a couple of answers to them. As I arrived I let the person at the front know why I was there and I was then brought straight to the manager's office. "Alright, so we'll jump right into this then. What do you think you will accomplish while working here?"

       The Interview couldn't have gone any better, I tried my best not to sound nervous and answer the questions as truthfully as I could. The manager told me after we were done that he would give me an answer in two to three business days, so I should know by Friday. I headed back home and took a quick shower and decided to watch (favorite show) since my teachers decided to show mercy with homework. "Y/N, are you home?" I heard Xavier calling from the kitchen. I paused my show and headed on in there. "Oh hey. How was your day squirt?" he said setting his things down. "It was good I aced the chemistry test that I took today and I also had that interview today." I said as I sat down at the table with takeout in front of me. "How did that go?" he asked, and we sat there eating and I went over everything me and the manager talked about. "I should know if they hired me either Thursday or Friday." He then congratulated me and we then finished eating the food that was in front of us.

       After dinner I headed back to my room and watched some of my shows when I noticed I got a notification from a new number. I smiled as I realized it was Mikey, the youngest out of the four turtles.
