"WHAAAAAAAAA—"

I closed my eyes, embracing myself for the impact.

When it happened, I only had one thing on my mind to block out the pain.

That guy...Francis...

He confused me so much that I didn't prepare myself to move through the time dimension when I left.

The air was knocked out of me, and I lay on the ground, stunned. "I hate this," I spoke. I slowly sat up, looking around, but something was different.

"This doesn't look like France," I spoke. I quickly stood up, looking around, but no one was around. What the hell is going on? I looked down at the watch, and suddenly a spark emerged.

Fuck...

"Where am I?... When am I?"

I looked around and saw what looked like a small village up ahead. I quickly put the pocket watch in my bag and ran toward the town.

Getting closer, I began to see that a girl was feeding some pigs. "Hey!" I shouted. The girl turned around, and I nearly fell once seeing her. "Eeeeee..."

How?

He looked at me confused and lifted an eyebrow. "You!" I shouted. "Me?" He asked. "How are you here?" I asked, annoyed. What was going on? I am so confused. I approached him, and he only looked at me, annoyed. "I live here! What are you doing here? And what are you wearing?" He asked.

He was wearing some ugly-looking clothes, and me...well, I looked more modern for sure. I continued staring at him, and he raised an eyebrow at me. "Are you okay?" He asked. However, as I began to think more about this, I blocked out his voice. Was I going crazy?

"Ahh...what year is it?" I asked.

He lifted a brow and looked around nervously, trying to see if anyone else was around. "1790..." he spoke, confused.

1790...

What happened that year in France...

"Great..." I spoke.

"What?" He asked. I rolled my eyes at him and pulled up my on-hand. "Witchcraft?" He asked. Damn...who was this guy?

"Hey...your name wouldn't happen to be Francis, right?" I asked. His eyes widened when I said the name, and I shook my head. I was right...who was this guy?

I'm not one to believe in magical things, but was he a vampire or something? This can't be a coincidence...

"How did you know my name?" He asked. I began to stare at him and placed my hands on my hips. "How are you here?" I wondered; however, he was still confused. It makes sense why...

I'm going to ignore this and leave; I can't bother myself with this. "Uh, are you going to tell me who you are and what you're doing here?" He asked. I smiled at him, shaking my head. "Not a chance!" I laughed; however, he glared at me. "I'll be going now, and I hope we don't run into each other again," I laughed.

Confused, he still looked at me, and I took out the pocket watch. "Honestly, what an idiot," I spoke. I began to think of my time once more, pressing the button. However, a portal opened before me this time, and I took this chance to run through it.

I began laughing as he looked horrified.

I hope I never run into that weirdo again.

As I ran through the portal, I watched as the one I went through closed, and I was traveling through the time dimension. There was no easy way to describe the space between time. It was cosmic, and I had access to this fantastic place. The colors that filled it were a mixture of green and gray. Mostly green...oddly enough, I always connected the color green with time, if that makes any sense.
