Chapter 4

Jenny POV

I went back to my ship and was shocked to see (y/n) sitting there, "Hey I thought you were gonna go back home to your parents?" I said as I walked closer to him and saw the blood dripping from his mouth, "Owie not gone." he said softly, "Sweetie did you force your regeneration to stop?!" I said in shock, "No change." he said weakly, "I don't want to go." he said as tears fell down his cheeks, "Why would you say that sweetie?" I asked, "Scared." he said, "The Doctor told you about regeneration didn't he? Why are you scared?" I asked, "No love me." he said, "Sweetheart, don't be scared. I'll always love you, your Mum and Dad will always love you. No matter what you look like." I said as his hands began to glow, "Promise?" he sniffled, "I pinkey promise." I said as I took his pinkey in mine and kissed his head, "Go on love, regenerate. I can't stand to see you in pain." I said he nodded and let the regeneration begin. Moments later my baby brother was gone and was replaced by a little girl. "See that wasn't so bad, was it?" I said, "No." she giggled, "Well then let's get running. My scanners tell me the TARDIS is gone, hope you left a note." I said, "Left a communicator." she said, suddenly Amy called using the communicator left her, "Hello Amy. It's lovely to see you." I said, 'Yeah, hi. Uh is (y/n) with you? The Doctor showed me how to use this thing. Look (y/n)'s not with us and I was hoping he was with you.' she said, "Oh yeah she's here with me." I said, 'She?' Amy said, "Yeah, (y/n) regenerated and he's now a she and she's with me." I said, 'HE WHAT!' she snapped, "Mama." (y/n) said softly, '(y/n) dear why don't you come home, Rory, and I miss you.' Amy said sweetly, 'We're going to New York 2012, it'll be a lovely family outing. I'd love to see you again sweetheart.' she said in a warm motherly tone. "Send me the coordinates I'll have her there." I said.

Amy POV

"Doctor, when a Timelord regenerates, they're the same person, aren't they?" I asked, "Oh no, no. Regeneration is a whole new start, same person, same memories, BUT a new personality and physical features to boot! It can be immensely terrifying the first time if not helped through the transitions by someone close to them." The Doctor said I felt so guilty that I wasn't there to let him know he would be ok. But worst of all, it meant that he died.

(y/n) POV

I went to the coordinates Mama gave us, but I only found the doctor. "Where Mama?" I asked, "(y/n)? Y-You regenerated?" he said in disbelief, "Want Mama." I said, "Amy...she's gone. She and Rory are with Rose now." he said sadly, "What that?" I asked as I pointed to the paper, "It's a message from Amy." he said as I sat with him. "Afterword, by Amelia Williams. Hello, old friend. And here we are, you and me, on the last page. By the time you read these words, Rory and I will be long gone. So know that we lived well, and were very happy. And above all else, know that we will love you always. Sometimes I do worry about you, though. I think once we're gone, you won't be coming back here for a while, and you might be alone, which you should never be. Don't be alone, Doctor. And do one more thing for me. There's a little girl waiting in a garden. She's going to wait a long while, so she's going to need a lot of hope. Go to her. Tell her a story. Tell her that if she's patient, the days are coming that she'll never forget. Tell her she'll go to sea and fight pirates. She'll fall in love with a man who'll wait two thousand years to keep her safe. Tell her she'll give hope to the greatest painter who ever lived and save a whale in outer space. Tell her this is the story of Amelia Pond. And this how it ends. And to my beloved child. I'm so sorry I was not there to help you. You needed your mother and she wasn't there to help you. My biggest regret is not being there for you when you needed me. I can't begin to tell you all I want to, so I'll tell you the important things. Mum and Dad, Amy and Rory, will always love you. Never forget that." the Doctor read, "Mama." I said sadly, "I'll miss them too." he said.

I decided to go with the Doctor, he needed me and I needed to not be alone. I wanted to be close to Mama and Papa, and there was nowhere else other than the TARDIS that was closer to them.
