My childhood dream was to become a teacher one day.
But when I reach high school, I want to be a journalist instead.
Unfortunately, when it was time to go to college, the only option left was to take I.T program, so I study Information Technology.
After I get my degree, I was inspired to write my stories here, so my high school dream of becoming a writer finally made come true, not in newspaper pages but in novel pages.
Then here comes my motherhood journey, I thought my career comes to an end, but I was wrong. Motherhood doesn't stop you from achieving your dreams.
Just like what Paulo Coelho once said, "when you really want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you to achieve it".
While nurturing and tutoring my daughter, I enrolled again, to earn some units to take the licensure examination for teacher. I was thinking, I don't have future in I.T, maybe in teaching there's a hope.
I enrolled last 2019, it was still face to face classes but during the second semester... year 2020, there comes the covid-19. Our batch didn't experience the final demo and final examination due to enhance community quarantine. I comply my requirements (lesson plan, visual aids, PowerPoint presentation and so on) after some time just to finish my uniting. Even with the announcement of postponement of the LET, I wasn't got discourage and continue my learnings. Prepare all the necessary papers and amount for the application for LET.
The darkness time was so long but patience is a virtue.
March 2022 comes, the application for LET was finally open but not for Palawan venue. I don't have the means to go to Manila or Iloilo or Cebu wherein the PRC examination is available. I didn't realize that day that this would be my only chance because we are the last batch for the old curriculum, if we didn't make it, we will study again (not literally the whole course but just to bridge the gap) for the new curriculum. But God is good, two days after, PRC announces that there will be an examination in Palawan.
I did my best and God do the rest.
It was all worth it. The struggle financially because I don't want to work while I prepare for the exam. The time I spent at home just to read and research. All is well.

Childhood dream lang noon, nagkatotoo na ngayon.
Struggle ang major, muntik ng hindi sumabit. Ang binili kong book sa specialization wala man lang doon kahit isang lumabas. Ang mga inaaral ko na pang major sa gen ed lang pala makikita, in short, nakatsamba na lang iyan. Isang taon ko lang din inaral ang social science kasi akala ko noong nag-aaral ako ng CTP, TLE ang specialization ko, noong magpa-evaluate ako ng TOR sa PRC, 2021 na, kaya masaya na rin ako sa 78 haha.
Pwede niyo na pagkatiwalaan ang Prof Ed Tidbits ko na book, 88 naman ang prof ed ko. Yehey!
And so, the journey finally ends here.
Kaya niyo rin iyan mga cher! Tiwala lang. God is good.
