After defeating the Elite Dark Guard, Sabre pulled the core carefully from its 'rightful' place. He forced the core into a smaller version of itself, the now-small red orb floating above his hand. He put it away into his pocket.
"C'mon, kiddo," He said calmly. "We have somewhere to go."
Green nodded. Sabre picked him up into his arms.
"What should I call you?"
"... Green... Green Steve..."
"Alright, Green it is!"
"... Where are we going...?"
"I'm meeting up with a friend. I have to give this to him."

In front of the two stood Time Steve. Sabre passed the core over to him.
"Thank you, Sabre. Who's your new friend?"
"This is Green!"
"Would you like to see a magic trick, Green?"
Green nodded.
"Then a magic trick you shall see!"
Time Steve pulled the energy from the core, causing his disguise to peel away...
